    Lusso oven not staying lit

We needed to replace our Insignia oven because the thermocouple went bad and there wasn't any parts available to repair it. I checked, Alliance parts checked, my extended warranty company checked. No parts for the Insignia available. I purchased a Lusso which is what Alliance is now...

    Wood wall?

Like KMac did to his 310RL, I mounted stuff on both sides of the wall in our 340RL. I agree that your's is the same.

    Dimmer switches

On our 340RL I added dimmers to the locations you're talking about. Also the bathroom and hallway. I had to install them sideways in the dining/theater seating area due to the windows and metal slide frame.

    PRE-DELIVERY INSPECTION (PDI) CHECKLIST

We live in the U.P. and several neighbors and friends purchased from Brewbakers in Onaway and are happy. They carry Alliance amongst other brands. We purchased our 340RL before they became an Alliance dealer.

    Bed struts

I love how some posts branch off and take on a life of their own. :) Seriously it doesn't bother me. :) You're right Jim, what you listed is what I have. I can't move the top as it's attached to a 2X3 under the mattress platform. But I can move the bottom towards the foot. I'll move that a...

    Bed struts

I thought of that, but I didn't know if that would mess up the geometry and not let it close. I did that on the basement door on the Nautilus side and it does open more, but I didn't move it much.

Anyone change out the struts under the bed for longer ones? Trying to get the opening higher.

    Screaming propane regulator

I personally don’t think it matters which way it sits since it’s a PRESSURE regulator. Mine is vertical. Someone more knowledgeable may disagree.

    Dimmer Switch Failure

Sorry, I have not heard of this. You should still be under warranty. Call Alliance and tell them the problem. They'll probably just send you a new one. Or two.

    Screaming propane regulator

I've heard of them sticking, especially that one, but not making a noise. I don't think they cost very much. Personally, I'd just replace it.

    Slide Weight Limit

I believe that would be a question best answered by Alliance themselves. I've read where people have changed furniture without a problem and I would think the difference of the weight of the recliners vs the weight of loveseat would be minimal. Plus, there's a big hydraulic ram moving that...

    Awning retracting uneven

I was so used to the Domestic stopping at the end of it's cycle. One of the first times we used the awning I couldn't figure out why it wasn't rolling in correctly. Turns out I rolled it in with the extend button.

    Thermostat Dying?

He pulled the furnace out. Undid the gas line and unhooked a couple of wires. One screw holding it in.
  20. Whitewolf

    Thermostat Dying?

In our case it was the valve on the furnace itself. As we were diagnosing what the problem might be, I told him of problems last winter (we lived in the rv full time while working on the house), and he said he's seen a lot of problems with the door side regulator. They're not that expensive...

    310rl No outdoor speakers?

We ordered our 340 specifically without speakers. I didn't like where they were located. I use a small speaker that I bluetooth to the radio or my phone when outside. Never heard of speakers in the bathroom. That would be interesting tho.

need some clarification and a little help

To me it looks like whatever it is, it's further in than what you'll be able to get to. Personally, I'd run it back to the dealer. That looks like a pretty wide gouge.

Will this be enough truck for use with Paradigm 340RL?

I pull our 340 with a Ram 3500 SRW short bed. I don't have any problems, although I do feel I'm within several hundred lbs of needing a dually, which is impossible to make happen.

    TSB

Our '22 304RL was having trouble with the bedroom Schwintek slide. LOTS of noise going in and out. We had a mobile tech out to diagnose and replace the gas valve for the furnace. I asked him about the slide while he was here. He took a look at it and showed me where the rail was scored and...

    Questions about things

We have a 340 but some things are the same. We use an 8 gal waste can under the sink and towels hung over the toilet. I wish we had hung them in the shower instead but the boss was worried they'd get wet during a shower. They won't.

    Thermostat Dying?

Problem solved. I ended up calling a mobile tech (Happy Campers RV Repair) and after a bunch of testing he figured out it was the gas valve. Installed a new on and we now have heat. If your in the Memphis TN area and need a mobile tech. I highly recommend Chris Campbell the owner...

    Thermostat Dying?

New development. Disclaimer!! This was happening before I took the thermostat off the wall and checked the voltage (which all checked out at 12V) Once I cycle the thermostat to get it to start back up, the first time thru the furnace will run and raise the temp a deg or 2 then shut...

    Thermostat Dying?

Earlier the furnace kicked on by itself and I thought it had healed itself. Nope, I just got done cycling thru the settings to get it to fire up. Very interesting that your problem traced to the A/C for a problem with the furnace restarting. I was looking at thermostats on Amazon yesterday...

    Thermostat Dying?

Having trouble with the thermostat that controls the Heat/AC. We're still in furnace mode on our way south to A/C mode. Problem is, when we have the thermo on Heat, the only way we can get it to operate is to turn it off, then cycle thru the settings until we get to heat again. It won't...

It’s not so much the distance from the bed as it is from the bed rail (The side of the truck bed). The distance between the truck rail and the overhang when hitched should be no less than 5”. I like 6”. You’re gonna get into a situation where the 5r is leaning one way and the truck not...

    Shocks recomdation needed

I don't think so. If I remember right, you'll want to make a measurement with the axles loaded(jacks retracted) and then install them with the jacks extended so you have enough room for the install. Better check the instructions in case I'm lying.

As the above said, Bilstein. I had 4600 on my '14 Ram 3500 and will replace the OEM with them when OEM wear out on our '21 3500. You may also want to consider Sumo Springs for your 310. I put them on our 340 and it made a noticeable difference. If your trailer is bouncy (and they all do)...

    Disc Brakes

In addition to Trent's answer I would suggest ordering one with disc installed at the factory. The disc brakes are hydraulic, so all wiring and plumbing are done in house. By plumbing I mean the hydraulic lines running from the pump to each wheel. I'm a believer in 'if the factory offers it...

RESOLVED - warranty response is pure crap.

Your dealer is your first go-to. If no satisfaction from the dealer, then contact Alliance. I've read many cases that Alliance reimbursed the owner for parts and labor when a tech made a house call. I'm sure if you contacted Alliance (maybe again) and explained the entire situation from the...

Maybe keep that problem in mind if you have to have any other warranty work done. If you call Alliance and get a recording, they'll ask you to send an email with pics. If the problem is preventing us from camping, then hang on. At this point it's not stopping a camp out for you, it's an...

New 42v13 - one gray water tank not draining

I'd get the valve Jim is showing no matter what. I think dealers would get lots of praise if they'd just install one before the sale. I've heard that sometimes when the hole is cut for the drain line the 'plug' falls into the tank and it doesn't get fished out. Sometimes it works its way...

Freshwater gauge will only read 2/3 full even when tank's completely full (water coming out of overfill)

Jim has a good point. Also, do your other buttons read full? Grey, black, battery. If they don't read full either, then the problem may be behind the control panel, or wherever all the wires come together. If your unit is under warranty, this is a good time to get the dealer involved. Or if...
