Maybe A Alliance Avenue 32 RLS, I Have Concerns

I don't know of any 32RLS that ever received a residential fridge, so I'm sure it's a 12v (residential style). A 12v fridge is much more efficient than a residential when operating off grid. I have a Norcold 12v in my 32rls. Once the fridge is cold (and fridge and freezer gets to temp in...

Our maiden voyage and Uh-oh!! (294RK-Delta)

May not apply to your situation, but it may. Helped a friend with a Delta last fall who had a water leak from the coroplast. We focused on the area of the leak, but couldn't find it. Started looking everywhere and found a small leak from below the kitchen sink supply, drip running down the pex...

Can I run 2 ACs on 30 Amp Service

General question on SoftStarts and a Victron MPii 2x120: With power assist, isn't' the need for SoftStarts greatly reduced ... or eliminated? The power assist feature would kick in for the short period of time the need from the ACs exceeds 30 amps....or am I misunderstanding something?

Solar Panel System Installed on my 2024 Delta 262RB

Jim: We'll be at the pre rally on the 18th. Would love a walkthru on your temp sensor and fan set up .. and your Orion, if it's in. If you didn't get the Orion in by then, I'd be glad to be an extra set of hands to help you install in Indiana. Question on the GuiMods: Does it get blown away...

Filled out the form last night. We plan on being there for the week before labor day through the rally. We really enjoyed last year, look forward to this year.

Nautilus panel fitting size and type?

When not below freezing, I leave it connected all the time. When winterizing (we move from Indiana to FL and back in the winter), we just disconnect the hoses and bring the filter and WS inside to protect from freezing. We then refresh the WS at home, and replace the filters before...

Nautilus panel fitting size and type?

I accomplished the same thing in a bit more simple of a method. Everything entering (city or tank fill) runs through the filter and water softener first. This also allows for easy removal of both for maintenance and winter.

    Electronic Door Lock

We went with the Global Link from eTrailer. We had some issues with the RVLock, and while we were not able to get them resolved, and ultimately switched to the Global Link, RVLock was very supportive, even long after the warranty expired. So far, we're happy with the Global Link.

    Dual thermostats

Just thinking through the scenario.... if you combined control into a single TStat .. how would you be able to run just a single AC at a time? Both ACs would come on 100% of the time? In my 32RLS, I only have a single AC in the Living/Kitchen area (along with one in the bedroom on a separate...

    Wire chase from roof.

It should be a straight shot down from the opening on the roof. On my 32RLS it was being the basement wall toward the door side. On a friends 310, it was behind the basement wall close to the back of the Nautilus.

New to this Forum and the Paradigm 340RL

Well .. if you haven't completed the sales process and signed and paid ... you still have time. If you have, there is a warranty period, so you can still discover and get things addressed through that process if you prefer, and if necessary. Good luck. There are many of us that don't have...

Westlake Tires - anyone had issue with them?

Well, despite my hyper focus, the tire fairy bit us. Time for new tires all around. We were 3.5 miles into our trip, having just visually inspected the tires and checked pressure before taking off. Driving 55mph on a road in good repair. Should've stuck to the "replace at 10k plan", but...

Can anyone recommend a Pet Monitoring System?

Bryan: We use a combo of systems. We have Blink cameras, our MicroAir TStat and VRM thru our Victron components. Blink gives us eyes and motion detection inside and out, MicroAir gives us temperature and HVAC status, alerts and the ability to make changes, VRM alerts us if our power status has...

Is anyone aware of an internal TPMS Solution Compatible with RAM Factory System?

Perhaps THIS will help? Not sure. Also, when I had to install my OEM TPMS sensors for my 2022 F350 in my trailer tires, I took it to Belle Tire .. they did it for free as a courtesy ... just asked that I keep them in mind for tires in the future ... I definitely will.

    Looking for Inverter sizing guidance

Mike: Not sure which 12v fridge you have, so my #s may vary from what you'll get. I have a 16 cuft Norcold in my 32RLS. Specs say it runs at 12amps/hr. I think that's when the compressors are fully running. Once cold, I've observed them to run at about 4.5amps/hr .... so a little over 100...

    320w panel question.

I haven't noted the exact timing, but I'll take a look at my VRM history and see if I can determine exact timing. Just anecdotally, it seems to start and complete charging pretty quickly in the AM, then maintain it until around 5ish ... sunset here is just after 6. Even in a heavy rainstorm...

    Grey water tank overflow valve

I agree with @BryanValRox, doesn't make sense, and I think you got a false answer. Also, while I don't have the same 310 model, I have same layout and tank config (32RLS) and all my drains are solid (not flexible) into the tanks. Only thing I can think that would explain it is one of those...

    tv storage

    320w panel question.

While I don't have the same level of experience and knowledge as Jim, I do concur with his math as it is consistent with my understanding and how we were taught at the NRVTA Solar Class. I went with 4 of the Renogy 320w panels (2s, 2p), and chose the Victron 150/100 after applying the same math...

Where to camp near Louisville, Kentucky

I concur with the review stating sites can be unlevel. It is an old state park with large trees, but we have been able to make due. Last summer, we had reservations at Taylorsville Lake (as @GriffLab mentioned above) but had to cancel due to last minute work commitment, so I can't speak from...

Solar panel mounting options on 310rl

I mounted an additional 3 320w Renogy panels with Self Tapping Wood Screws and Afcat 945 Sealant below and above the brackets. This was the method taught to us at the NRVTA Solar Class, and so far, everything is holding well after about 2500 miles.

Viability of using onboard propane system for a portable dual fuel generator?

Jim: I did a somewhat similar thing for my Blackstone griddle. I put a splitter on one tank, splitting before the regulator, then have a portable hose that runs out the bottom of the compartment that connects to an adjustable regulator, then that connects to my Blackstone (I found the...

    Slide Top Flap Seals

I agree with BryanValRox above .. I had to do this the top of my slide sides to make sure they always "flipped out" Got a couple of pieces from my dealer (they just gave them to me when I described what I was doing) and used a little adhesive. 5 min. mod.

    Front Cap Leak

I did not install a W/D in my 32RLS, so i disconnected the water lines that feed the closet. There were valves to shut off the water in the basement mounted to the floor near the stairs behind the basement wall. Although they were shut off, there was water in those lines when I cut them. I...

    Fireplace remote control usage

Where to camp near Louisville, Kentucky

When we go to the trail, we camp away from Louisville and closer to the trail. My Old Kentucky Home State Park is a go to place for us. Some of the sites are tight, so you have to be selective depending on how big your rig is. Bardstown is a nice destination and kinda centrally located for...

Keyless Locks for doors and cargo compartments

Yep, good thought on the FOB switch. We went there also ... turning off the switch and going so far as to unprogram the FOBs and leaving them at home.... still happened. Just to be clear ... when the door opened, what we'd find is that the deadbolt had retracted into the body of the lock, as...

    Short Bed Towing

OK .. I'll stick my tallywacker in the light socket ..... I have the Anderson, and I like it. Had a number of folks try and talk me out of it, but I did not take their advice. On my F350 SB, I can get close to 90 deg, but not quite there. We're not full time, so when we're off the road, our...

    Inverter installation

Usually, what "Inverter Prep" means is that they've prewired a subset of 110v outlets in the coach to receive inverted power. Those outlets have leads that terminate in a junction box in a location where an inverter would normally be installed (not sure where there is in the Delta line, but in...

Keyless Locks for doors and cargo compartments

I've had an RVLock on the entry door for almost 2 years. Very nice .. so convenient that I'd say it's a requirement for us. However, I've had some issues with it. It will occasionally pop open (something is causing the lock to receive a retract command on the deadbolt) during travel. RVLock...

Looking for advice on buying a ‘24 Paradigm 385FL

We love our 32RLS ... we're not full time, but long time ... we did 133 nights last year. We'll beat that this year. We're both still working full time, so the floorplan allows us to each have an office space separate from each other.

Welcome, KingDom .. and yowsa!... 90 degree turn on a steep grade with a 41 footer where you're already scraping with a 33 footer? You're ballasts are bigger than mine. Good luck, and see you out on the road. Lot's of 41 footers out there. You should have plenty of choices for camping ..

    Solar Panels on Valor 37v13

Just to add a couple of real world numbers I've experienced ... On my Norcold 16 cuft 12v fridge, I'm running at 4.5 amps after fully cooled, and not going in and out of it. Also seeing about an additional 15w as a normal draw with nothing on .. so must be smoke/co detectors and whatever power...

    Closet rod placement

Don't see any issue with moving it, if that's what fits your needs. We replaced ours with a smooth rod .. the indentations in the OEM rod made it inconvenient to push hung clothes out of the way to get to the back and side shelves.

    Avenue AC with no ducts

I have a 32RLS. I was apprehensive about the ductless AC in the living area, but the logic of not sending cooled air through the hot space above the ceiling made sense. I was also surprised at how quiet the AC units are. So far, the living AC keeps up just fine, unless you're above 100 deg in...

I also picked up some of these on BF. I'll use them to replace the under cabinet lights in the kitchen. I like the idea of the dimming, and the blue ambient light option. The OEM's are just a bit too harsh when sitting at the couch and theater seats. Hopefully, these work as well as I"m...

    New To The Alliance Family

I have a before project CAT scale ticket. I'm sure I've added weight, but I subtracted some also in equipment that was replaced.
