I looked at your last picture and my first thought was, no wonder there are problems with leaking doors. They have too many doors one of them is bound to leak! LOL.
My 2022 only has 1 upswinging cargo door in the hitch area!
Now my pet peeve is with the driver side cargo door that is impeded by the slide.
I have been too cheap to convert to swinging doors on the driver side.
So I suffer and just bend down when accessing the driver side storage area.

Have you raises the strutts yet to allow the door to open highter....giving you a more space? It was a GREAT change to our driver side door on our 340RL

I have not raise the struts. I understand that will buy me a few more inches of clearance.
Your post will motivate me to give it a try vs. just ranting about it! Thanks

It is a 5-10 min job. Just get someone to help hold the door, once you remove the second strut. There are 3 screws....the bottom screw will move up to the where the orginal top screw was. Then use a corner driver to drill pilot hole and screw in 2 new screw holes....then repeat on other side. Here is how it will turn out. Soooo much better!! And the bedroom slide can still come out with the door fully opened.
