I just noticed this thread and wished I would have found it during our warranty fight with Alliance. We fought with Alliance on a number of issues. We had a gouge in our floor that was touched up with temporary puddy to temporarily hide it. When we put a claim in, Alliance initially said it was owner damage, we wrote letters and eventually had the repair approved. I understand that Alliance has to be suspicious if they do not have record of it happening, but it sounds like this has happened at least a couple of times, and they need to address that with their assembly crews. My biggest disappointment has been on having a number of fastener issues. We have had trim, blinds, awning, couch hold down, cabinetry fasteners come loose because they were overdriven with power tools. This was really making me doubt the experience of the crew that built it. The awning was the worst. We were in the middle of nowhere in Arizona and discovered the awning attachment strip was peeling away from the front of the rig. I called Alliance and was sent a list of things they would not cover to get it fixed. They do not pay for a Technician to come to the rig, want to get a written estimate and approve it for you to get it repaired. I am sure some people will say that is standard dealership stuff, but I was sitting in the middle of nowhere thinking that I am fixing a major assembly line screw up. That was really surprising to me after seeing all of the Alliance hype stickers repeatedly citing "full-time living". How can you meet those provisions being full-time on the road? We ended up risking the drive to a Phoenix Alliance dealer and was able to get it fixed, but I was definitely thinking about changing brands at that point. In the end Alliance did fix the things, it just took a lot longer than I thought they should have.I am wondering if other owners have had an unusual amount of warranty issues..? I have owned my 32RLS since October of last year and have only been able to camp with it twice due to warranty issues...Here are the issues I have had so far...(1) Eight drawers out of a total number of fourteen did not either open or close properly (addressed)... (2) the shower pan had no sub floor under the middle of the pan...The whole shower had to be taken out sub structure put in and then replaced (addressed)... {3} The linoleum on the slide floor where the recliners and kitchen table are in needs to be replaced due to a 18 inch. gouge in the linoleum under the table (not addressed yet)... (4) The bed in the bedroom was not installed at the factory correctly and when moved to the stow position put a gouge in the linoleum floor in the main isle of the bedroom... (not addressed yet)... (5) Adjust the bed not installed correctly... (addressed)... (6) The entry door on the camper had to be totally replaced... (addressed)... (7) The toilet had a leak, toilet seal missing, seal replaced...(addressed)... (8) The suspension that the pistons under the bed that help lift the bed up to access under bed storage broke off the bed platform... (not addressed yet)... (9) The bathroom faucet does not work correctly, good water flow on hot side, very little water flow on cold side... (not addressed yet)... (10) The main awning or number 1 awning on the 32RLS pulled away from the camper wall where it was mounted... (not addressed yet)... Lastly I need a tech to look at a window in the bedroom that I question if it may need to be fixed...
I would like to hear if other Avenue owners have had the same experience as I have had...Especially 32RLS owners...
Thanks I know it's a long read...
