Sumo Spring Install Question

I know there are several post online about SS and warranty, benefits, cost etc.

After reading up on the subject I decided to install them and give it a try.

My question is this; if you have installed them on an RV did you remove the Coroplast above the SS? Im referring to the area the SS makes contact with the frame. Some people have left it in place, I left mine in place. Wonder if there's a need to remove it?
After posting the picture I see that I need to move a screw over. How did I miss that!?

My opinion (opinions are like...) is no need to remove Coroplast.
My question is... Is the Sumo supposed to smooth out the ride a little bit like a shock absorber?
Four SS? Model/Part number?

I installed them on my 29RL 2 years ago when it was new and the ride in the camper was definitly improved. We found the "inventory rotation" in the camper during travel/rough road days was considerably less! No height difference as they only really work when bumps happen. Thats my $.02 worth. Mike

First trip and I can tell a noticeable improvement in ride. Chucking has been reduced, bumps seem to be less noticeable.

I left the Coroplast in place.

Yes, the SS act like a shock absorber on compression (bumps) and help reduce impact over the bumps.
Im convinced the overall condition of the RV will be better over time with anything that can reduce the impact and road vibrations.

No change in ride height, I did notice the driver side had less frame clearance, springs were less arched due to the heavier weight on driver side. The SS should help with the extra weight on that side.

4 is recommended by SS. Easy install, just needed to move the propane line over. Part are included in the kit to do that.
