love the split basement door - no more head knockers! Has anyone come up with a simple solution to keep the horizontal sections from trying to close when the wind blows?
thanks

Door magnets from Amazon worked for me. You will need to drill clear through the door and attach with SS screws.

I put just one set on, but I am going to add the other set. I don't think one is enough in a stout gust of wind.

I used these. They hold the door far enough away that the propane latches do not rub. I tried the magnets but they weren't strong enough to hold the door in a good breeze.

I like the split door. But it holds rain - I discovered this weekend on first trip. it rained during our trip. When I raised the door to disconnect the water hose - rain water poured down inside of the door after I raised it.

Solution is going to put a clear bead of caulk around outside of frame of the door. I found The door entry basement door does the same thing (hold water).
