My 2021 Paradigm 390 Solara awning ripped apart last night. The water from the rain did not drain off. What is the warranty from Solara and does my extended warranty cover this
Please help with any information thank you ted b.

1. Don't leave your awning out unattended. Sorry this happened, but they just don't hold up to rain and wind.
2. They may have changed since I had my 2021, but you need to drop an arm on one side or the other to let water run off. They don't automatically do that themselves, or at least mine did not.
3. I doubt Solara will warranty this, unless it advertises a function that did not work that allowed this to happen. For your extended service contract, you will need to check with them to see. A couple of gotchas - they often do not cover anything they determine is negligence (this might qualify) and they often do not really cover much until the original warranty is expired, but again you will need to call them to find out.

Good luck! But seriously, do not leave awnings out if you are not around to watch them.
