50% off is a smoking deal, but still no bargain if the roof is bad. If you are comfortable that roof is OK as they claim 45K is a good price if you are uncomfortable with roof offer a few grand less than 45K
Not to mention the time lost while the repair is being performed.

My wife and I went to an RV show last weekend and finally met our salesman. Prior, we'd only communicated by text and a 15 minute phone conversation. We also met the owner of the dealership and spent a good amount of time talking with them. This week, I finally finished my due diligence and got my answers. We also received a copy of the dealer cost sheet that shows they had a bundle in it.. More than 57K with all the packages and options even with a 5K premium package allowance.

I heard nothing more from that goofball Alliance "customer experience manager" who apparently never heard the company motto of do the right thing.

My wife is VP of sales for a fairly large company. The main thing she does is negotiate multi-million dollar contracts with very large US and Int'l corporations. That's what makes her world go round. We decided she'd call the owner this morning to see what we could come up with. They decided we would split the difference between $45k out the door and $42K.

A good deal on a nice, new 5th wheel with all warranties intact. We're pleased. This RV and our truck will be a suitable rig that should last us for the rest of our days.

Me and service dog went to town shortly thereafter and wrote them a check.

Thanks for all the info and advice, points and counterpoints. The links were great. Without those, I never would have known the Alliance case manager was full of bs.

I'm going to move the Jayco to its new home on our property later this week and will have the Alliance delivered sometime next week.
