For sure, dealers need to be cut out of the money/markup game on Alliance parts. The process of ordering a part from Alliance is INSANE!! They can't quote a GUARANTEED price...they can't give you a shipping cost until they have the part...Then you have to call them with a credit card number. So I am giving a credit card number to somebody in a cubicle, that I don't know, and they might just need some home repairs done. Why isn't this a secure transaction?
The technology side they boast about, does not seem to be anywhere close to what is possible today with a product line. Then you add in access to drawings of "A persons specific RV", even though they claim to "know" what item is put on each frame...Let's just say that marketing is their greater strength. I hope they catch up, but it shows a real blind spot to what RV owners have been yelling before they came onto the scene. Transparency. They are doing nothing that can be patented. They are a parts assembly company like the rest. I don't have the numbers, but I would bet that DIY customers are their largest client. If they focus on that, they will have a good run.
