On-line parts store?

Come on Alliance, you need an on-line parts store. I am sure there are hundreds of Alliance owners that would go on it to buy replacement parts, or upgrade parts etc. I could see myself buying parts I don't even need because they might be better than what I have or consider it a nice upgrade 😊 I would love to buy a shower caddy from a Paradigm to put in my Delta that has nothing..... Maybe I wanted to buy a utensil drawer, or a sink cover. The applications are endless....

Just a guess, but I am sure they wouldn't be able to compete with Amazon. Why go through the effort to build an online store, when you know you can't compete on price (and Amazon's free shipping)

Ohhh, thanks Jim(y) Still think it would be great to have a one stop shop for all things Alliance. Cabinet doors, hinges, etc.

I recently sent an email with VIN for my 2022 41V15 Valor, I needed part number for ski on kitchen slide and my dump valve for garage bathroom is stuck open. I bent the handle trying to close it. I was hoping I could just replace the part without replacing the entire valve. I get an email back asking me if the valve is 1.5ā€ or 3ā€? I don’t know I don’t have the coroplast tore off. SHOULDN’T the VIN number tell you that? Then she asked was the slide a cable slide. I don’t have any cable slides BUT again shouldn’t the VIN tell you that? Just frustrating! We love our camper but I agree getting parts should be easier.

Does anyone have any suggestions on the valve handle and getting the valve closed short of removing the coroplast?

If it were me, i would pull the coroplast and get in there and fix it myself. Make sure the cables are tied up and secured well to eliminate wast3d motion/flex. And shoot cable lube into cable to lubricate. My 40v13 has a valve leaking, havent had time to dive into yet but it is just annoying at this point. First thing i do on all new to me units, is i install a twist on manual gate valve at the cap to prevent unpleasant surpris3s.

Yeah, the marketing pitch of knowing what is installed on each trailer, is a lie. When my brakes fell off on the first road trip, I had to send them a picture of the stickers on the axle. Same with my inverter, when it "bricked". It is a great goal, but I think they don't trust their own information at this point. Perhaps the confidence was shaken, after sending the wrong parts, too many times.

How hard is to provide an illustrated parts breakdown and part number and allow online order. The dealer has susposed to get me a trim piece on my valor 40v13 for months, Never ordered it.

For sure, dealers need to be cut out of the money/markup game on Alliance parts. The process of ordering a part from Alliance is INSANE!! They can't quote a GUARANTEED price...they can't give you a shipping cost until they have the part...Then you have to call them with a credit card number. So I am giving a credit card number to somebody in a cubicle, that I don't know, and they might just need some home repairs done. Why isn't this a secure transaction?

The technology side they boast about, does not seem to be anywhere close to what is possible today with a product line. Then you add in access to drawings of "A persons specific RV", even though they claim to "know" what item is put on each frame...Let's just say that marketing is their greater strength. I hope they catch up, but it shows a real blind spot to what RV owners have been yelling before they came onto the scene. Transparency. They are doing nothing that can be patented. They are a parts assembly company like the rest. I don't have the numbers, but I would bet that DIY customers are their largest client. If they focus on that, they will have a good run.
