You are probably correct. I forgot about them because they would not install them on the too long side of our Winnebago. BAL would definitely not have worked there.I would counter that Vroom is probably the best proven option at this point. The last generation of BAL cable slides required constant repairs at best.
The new generation seems to have started were the old generation left off with an immediate retrofit required on brand new units.
Vroom replacements for Schwintek slides seem to be the solution, although very pricey.
The idea to install slide outs on RV's that cannot have through frame mechanisms is novel. Unfortunately the mechanics of the idea are still a work in progress.
The next production year W switched to through frame for that slide.
I don’t know of any mfg using Vroom though.
