Lithium battery upgrade

How were you able to get through all the hoses, wires and drains to get up to the Converter?
I just got word that mine has to be switched manually, but I can't see any way to get to the converter? I an not sure if I can move the control panel enough to get to it?
Thanks,
Roy
On my Delta 292RL, there wasn't any pipes to deal with under the pantry closet. There was lots of wire and a heating duct. To access the converter I completely removed the electrical panel. There was a lot of slack in the wiring so it was fairly easy to get a clear view of the converter. On my old Imagine 2670MK the converter was below the drawers in the bedroom. All I needed to do was remove the drawers and it easy to remove the converter.

The first two pics are the panels without the panel cover and with cover. The two others are the wires, hoses, and lines behind the removable access door in the bay! The second of those shows the converter between the two gray flex lines where the lines are closest together!
Good luck Roy (Mike Z here).

I called RVFIX and got a video call and between me and the tech, we pulled the panel forward and I could see the front half of the charger, but the back is where I needed to get to. I found that the bottom of the cabinet in the other half was held down by 4 screws, I took them out and was able to push the floor up from the other side and there was the back!!!!! I put the little "KEY" in and waited for the light to turn BLUE and it is supposed to be switched to Lithium now!!! What a mess, all Alliance had to do was keep the damned switch in the control panel and I wouldn't have lost so many brain cells!!!!!!

Glad you got it straightened out Roy!

I emailed Alliance after we were texting and got this in response. I've sent a follow up asking for the best strategy to access.

Good morning,

Thank you for contacting the service team of Alliance RV. I received your request for converter information in your 2025 Paradigm 340RL. Your unit has the Progressive Dynamics PD9360 converter. The converter does need to be switched for lithium batteries. The tool to push the button is taped to the side of the converter. Please see below. If you have any other questions, please feel free to reach out.

The follow up seems helpful

We are happy to help! The converter should be directly behind your breaker box/fuse panel. Most likely, you will need to remove that to locate access to the converter.

Glad I found this post and realized that someone else suffered the same pain. I've also got a plain jane breaker box with a converter stashed in an highly inaccessible spot. Although rshankel's got a few years on me (not many) there's no way to access from the bay. My converter is a PD9300 with the same paper clip charge setting tool. I'm so hesitant in yanking out the breaker panel that I'll try just about anything to avoid it. Probably not. Thanks for all the hard info.

See if this helps. Mine was very easy to get at. https://alliancervowners.com/forum/threads/changing-converter-to-lithium-from-fla.3181/

Thanks for the link. Just what the doctor ordered. Currently in the middle of my return trip (CA to AL) and will accomplish the changeover at home. Thanks again.
You will be glad you upgraded to the Lithium, you will no longer have to worry about the LA battery's 50% of usable capacity. We installed an Epoch 300 ah and have never had any issues, although we do not have an inverter yet.
Good luck with your swap,
