I guys, have a 30 rls Avenue 2022, will be out of warranty Feb. 28/25. My floor at the slide edge is tearing (slits in flooring) in front of stove, contacted Alliance and was advised by the customer experience manager that this is a very common problem and was not covered under the warranty but as a goodwill gesture they will provide linoleum flooring for the repairs. See pictures where you see paper that’s the slices in the floor. I have no idea on how to fix this problem. Any suggestions I’m at a loss, Alliance won’t help, even though I’m still under warranty.

Interesting, I have a 32RLS from the same year and also have this issue. I had contacted Bill Martin directly on this and he claimed that they had never seen this issue. I am curious to see if anyone else is having this issue. Also I think this would at best only be under the one year warranty.
I also have no idea how to fix this. We did go and apply a double layer of Gorilla tape to the back of the flooring to try and prevent further cracking, since the cracks seem to occur right where the small gap is between the slide out and the main flooring. I also noted that the slide out seems to sit more level with the main floor since I installed stainless slide out skis. I was wondering if this might have helped prevent this issue.
The only solution that I have found at this point is not to stare at it or you will need some medication, I would welcome any other answers for a fix.....

one suggestion is to get into the annual rally in goshen and request it to be fixed.
Get it taped at this point...do it on the bottom to stop the tear.
If not that, and they aren't going to fix it, at least get the material from alliance and have an expert in your area repair it.

We have a 2022 Valor 40V13 with similar issues. The main slide was leaving friction wear marks on the linoleum to the point it was just starting to tear the linoleum. One end was worse than the other. I bought a semi truck white plastic mudflap. ($15-$18 in my area) They are 30" long, I cut two strips out of it 12" wide. We place these strips under the factory plastic skids that are on the bottom of the slide box. The only trick is that someone has to stand on the end of them while bringing the slide in for about the first 18" to keep them in place. This is usually my wife's job. After that they stay on their own. The slide box skid rails slide on these instead of rubbing on our linoleum. The mudflap has a very smooth, slick surface, almost like teflon and makes it very easy for the slide box to slide on them. They are only about 1/4" thick so that doesn't interfere with any clearances. These slide boxes in RV's are so heavy you would think manufacturers could come up with something better than the chincy cheap plastic slides they use now. Pus they don't use enough of them. Our living room slide is 11 1/2 feet wide and has a full size sofa recliners and the refrigerator in it. It has only 2 plastic side rails under it to carry all that weight. I don't understand how any manufacturer can really believe that's adequate. Anyway, as others mentioned that Alliance won't do anything about this issue, even if your still under warranty that was our case too. This truck mudflap fix has worked very well for us and stopped any further damage to our floor. We have been using it for over two years now.
