Has anyone used lexel on there rv yet? Used proflex some but wanting a comparison. Looking for a good product to redo a few seams on the front overhang by the 5th wheel pin on my 310rl.

I have used Lexel sealant on my rv. Seams, corners, gutters seams etc. I think it's a great product! I had previously used silicone on the gutter seams and found that it wouldn't hold up even after cleaning the seam with alcohol. I used the Lexel sealant on the gutter seams about five months ago and still holding up.

I have noticed when using a clear silicone after tooling or smoothing out the product. After time the thin edge always gets that feathery look ( starting to peel). I haven't noticed that yet with the Lexel sealant.

Lexel Is a very good product. Silicone is an absolute no no, I do not understand why an rv manufacturer would ever use it, especially on exterior of a rig that needs constant attention.

I agree the lexel products are amazing. I used it to reseal the back skirting on our 32rls and it's holding up and it is also crystal clear. it does not yellow. it dries clear so it makes it super clean

Tried lexel today. Taped / finger on side and did just my finger on the other side. Skins quick and you have a short time to work it. I think I will use tape next time.

Still looks fine without using tape but I get it and would probably do the same.
