L-Shape couch connections

I have a 2026 Valor 37v11. How do I connect these couch pieces together? I have no problem connecting the 2 pieces that move to bring the slide in but the couch in the slide is almost an inch taller than the other. Also it seems like the couch doesn't fit in her correctly. It is tight to the wall near the TV end but the counter end front foot is almost off the slide. The couch , when lined up seem to be sitting a an awkward angle. Is this the way it's supposed to be? And if anyone has any suggestions for cleaning under this I would really appreciate it. I see a lot of production debris under there and already a few cat toys I cannot reach.

Because that is an "L" or 90 degree type couch, I am unsure if it dismantles like a regular couch. Check out this video at the 47 sec mark. I am guessing, you can remove the back cushions. Then you can access the screws in the bottom frame, that holds it to the floor.

Once you get it out of the slide, you can better figure out the issue. I circled where on the seat frame, the seat backs slide onto the seat bottom. There is a release mechanism there, most likely. They are a pain in the butt.

I saw this but I don't know how to reach those release mechanisms when the couch is so tight to the outer wall of the slide. I'm going to see if I can get to this from underneath. Thanks

you have to jam your hands in the lower corners and pull back the cushion where I circled the couch. If you see the release system, then you can begin the wrestling match. The trick is lifting up, while opening the release. I found it easier to work in a 2x4 as a lever and releasing the lock system, when doing it alone the first time. My couch was too tight to the wall. I hate those latching systems. I have not screwed my couch down, because of it. I have had no problem, having done it. I like being able to pull the couch out a bit, so it doesn't hit my shades when at camp. Good Luck!!

Agree RockDrp896,,,FYI,,,,we live in ours full time & are stationary. We removed all the travel straps, brackets on our rig,,,,,We do not have the L couch but on our last towable removed the travel restraint screws & brackets & fashioned wood Floor braces to restrain sofa & independent theater seat restraints for when we were traveling. A bit of a hassle but easier cleaning & comfort made that approach simpler than the screwed floor restraints designed for us,,,for cleaning we use an extendable handled stiffer,,,,understand the design intents but agree they are a PIA 👍🍀🌞

I felt the latches to remove the back but just couldn't get the to release. Got the reclining side to unscrew with a ratchet underneath. Once we removed the recliner I realized the cushion in the corner piece just came off and there was a Velcro piece of fabric to lift up and you could reach the screws there super easy. Still needed to get the recliner out first due to the latching system.
