Yes at first I swear it was like a solid pin box. I couldn’t see any movement at all. 220 miles and I can see it moving a little now and the line I put on it when it was new has lowered a bit taking up a bit of the preload. I think it will be ok😐When I bought mine (goose version), GenY told me I should use the 6.5k for my 4.6k pin. I was skeptical all the way home from the factory as it was a much rougher ride than my TrailAir was. It takes at least 1,000 miles to really break in in my experience. It is a pretty good ride now, but I am dialing in my airbags on my truck still, so it will only get better. I have IS on my SOB, too, so that probably helps but had it from the factory before the move to GenY.
I installed the AirLift 7500XL on my truck with the onboard compressor. At the time, I had a level on my truck and needed to offset the sag. I recently removed the level, so will be adjusting pressure way down I expect. I just went with the single pressure system as opposed to being able to adjust either side independently. My current pin weight is around 4600# for reference.Oh and any advice on the air bags I’ll take also 😎
