F350 with Avenue 29BH

I’m curious if anybody has information or pictures showing how level the Avenue 29BH sits with an F350.

I’m wondering if in order to maintain the six inch minimum clearance to the bed rails whether the trailer would sit nose high and by how much.

I don’t have your exact combination, but close. My truck is a 2026 Chevrolet 3500 Trail Boss SRW and the camper is a 2025 29RL. The picture is from before I installed 2” lift blocks on the camper and with the pin box in the next to highest set of holes (higher holes = less nose height). After moving the pin box up and installing 2” lift blocks, it got a bit better. I can share pictures afterwards if you’d like. All in all, I was not pleased with lifting the trailer. Parts and labor to lift it and raise the pin box was nearly $2000. I would not do it again. Also, with the lift, I have 7 1/2” of tailgate clearance.

Thanks, that is helpful. Would be great if you have an after picture with the lift in place, as I am considering that option if I purchase the 29BH and it does not sit level.

Hello,

I have a F350 SRW Lariat and a Avenue 29RL. I have approximately 7" around the rails and didn't change the factory king pin hitch location. My B&W hitch setting is set in the middle height location. We sit about 2" high at the nose, not perfect level, but pulls nice.

Awesome! You don’t by chance have a picture from the side do you?

Presently I do not, but will be hooked back up on July 2nd and can send you one. I do have a shot of the day I picked up the 29RL, but I adjusted the B&W hitch height after that day to my present setup. If you want that photo, I can attach it.

Thanks, yeah if you do have that it would be helpful. How much did you lower the front after the picture?

Lowered the B&W hitch by 1 inch, nothing with the RV king pin. The attached picture is delivery day and sitting on an inclined parking lot.

I am in the same situation. I have a 2026 Avenue 29rl and 2025 Sierra 3500 AT4 SRW. I have been looking at the Simcoe 2" lift blocks with the MorRyde cross brace. You mind explaining what you are not pleased with lifting it? I have my concerns so it would be good to hear from someone who has done it.

The reason I would not do it again is because there was little difference in trailer height for the money spent. As you can see from the “after” picture I posted, the trailer is still not level. However, it raised the camper enough that I need a 4th step and I lost 2” of leveling jack throw. My original concern over being nose high was the possibility of uneven tire, axle and suspension wear. In retrospect, these concerns may or may not have been legitimate.

Got it thanks. The main reason I am looking is my driveway is a slope and need 2x10’s at the bottom so the the hitch doesn’t drag. Would like to not need those every time I back down and pull out of the driveway.

When I needed to raise the rear of my Prior 5th wheel. I went with a larger diameter tires and a correct tracks axle alignment kit. I didn't actually need the alignment but the kit raised the rear by an inch and the tires gave me a another 1/2 to 3/4 to an inch or so.
I was looking to get better clearance between the truck bed and the camper. It worked out well.

Maybe its just the picture, Is the rear of the truck sagging a bit.
Yes it is the picture. It is not exactly to scale is is skewed a little. It sags a little. I have Tembrens and they help. The ride is more stable and less swaying. I have 6-7 inches clearance. If my memory serves me right, it sagged about 4". With Timbrens, it is only about 1 1/2. Very satisfied with that.

I wouldn't despair too much over paying $2000.00 to get the lift. When I raised my trailer I think I paid in the $1500 range but this would have been 10 years or so ago. That lift gave me, I believe 7" of clearance, before that I had 5". Not quite enough! I think you said you had 7 1/2 now which meant you had 5 1/2 before. Again that's borderline.
Yes you might have been fine but then again your bed rails may have contacted the fiver and that would have ate your $2K really quick. Or left you with some damage to the truck and trailer. You are correct, nose high can also cause suspension issues and axle tire issues.
If cost is your main reason for the regret I would not sweat it.
You may have saved those initial costs and been forced to pay for other things further down the road.
Classic pay me now or pay me later scenario.
The pay me later scenario generally comes with even more stress, angst, and headaches.
