Convertor type in 2026 Paradigm

I have a 2026 Alliance Paradigm 310rl. I just ordered a lithium battery and looking for info on the convertor. The manual talks about a switch visible in the breaker area but mine does not have that. So, is it automatic or do I have to remove panel to access the convertor and switch it to charge lithium batteries?

Hi folks, congratulations on the 2026.

They are using a new style convertor, I believe it is hidden behind your fuse panel BUT I am not sure of that.
The newer style converter has a tiny “PIN” like tool that gets inserted to change the charge profile and you can validate the setting by the color of the light that gets displayed. Information has been posted on on this forum about it.

I will try to find it and repost.

Through a little more help and research it seems I have the PD9360 Converter. So I will have to remove the panel to get to the switch. That little "claw" is something I have seen with my camper documentation. Here is the pic.

If you have the stand-alone PD9300 converter, as I did on my 370FB, it was necessary to access it from the back side of the breaker panel by taking down the firewall in the storage bay. You will not be able to reach and reprogram the unit by taking out the breaker panel alone. Also, it takes some patience to reprogram the unit. Take the "key", that is taped to the side of the converter, and insert it into the small hole and press firmly. Hold the pin in and observe the color change of the LED through the larger hole. The change in color does not come quickly. When it turns blue, release the pin and that's an indication of a successful reprogram. Also, don't forget to reprogram the Victron MPPT, via the app, to accommodate the LI battery.
