Rigs five days old. Pdi at the dealers a joke. I don’t try it there
This comment is not intended. to throw salt on the wound. A thorough extensive PDI is a must. You cannot trust the dealer or assume everything is OK just because the unit is new.

Nowhere in the process is there a thorough inspection of the unit.

This is why you must conduct your own thorough PD Before accepting the unit and pulling off the lot. Unfortunately once you pull off the lot, Getting problems resolved involve a lot of red tape and are not as easy to resolve as they should be.
There are PDI checklist available on this forum. Yes I understand you can't catch every problem via the PDI but you must make an attempt and try to catch every problem Before you pull off the lot. The RV industry is shady and the getting warranty service it's not as straightforward as it should be. This is not just an an Alliance issue, this is industry wide.

These comments may not help Hotrodjohn at this point but hopefully they will benefit someone else reading this.
Curb your enthusiasm. Download the list and conduct a PDI before pulling off the lot.
