Awning continues to extend after releasing button

Anyone having issues with awning extending after releasing button? Both my awnings are doing this.

Mine does the same thing.Both awnings.Dealer says normal op.I can stop them by pressing the switches momentarily to retract if that makes sense.

Alliance sent me two motors. Tried them both with same results. Also did some other troubleshooting. I'm thinking switch. I'm in contact with Carefree hopefully will have more info today

Makes sense. Mine are the same. Not normal

Jeremy from Carefree emailed me back. Apparently the switch is two parts. The switch and a pigtail that plugs into it. The pigtail is what he called their dynamic braking. For some reason the pigtail wasn't installed during construction. We have a ticket in with Alliance and as soon as they send the switch kit I'll post a video

2022 30RLS. Ours does the same. Dealer put in for the Carefree fix from Alliance. Hopefully it happens.

For some reason Alliance ended up with the wrong switches and no dynamic breaking pigtail. Supply chain issues I guess. Once they get the correct switches and pigtail you'll be good to go.
