Alliance Delta quality - poor so far

I am new to this forum. We purchased a 292RL in July, 2026. We are recently retired and were thinking this will be our last travel trailer. We have owned one motorhome and three travel trailers in the last 25 years. I have always performed the maintenance and repairs on my equipment. Over this time frame, I have migrated from mainly maintenance and occassional repairs to working diligently for many days to repair brand new equipment. It is very obvious that modern trailer quality has drastically deteriorated for many/all manufacturers. We did a lot of research and chose Alliance for the final travel trailer. We specifically chose Alliance due to a perception that a premium price and newer manufacturer claim about "we are different" might mean something. Also, we did have some word of mouth about better quality. Currently, I am not seeing a quality improvement. Repairs by me and/or warranty work performed include a water leak, poorly fitting trim pieces popping off all over, slide-outs not aligned when purchased, interior walls bowed because panels cut too long, slide out floor popped up 6 inches just inside the door. The floor was a major trip hazard just inside the entry door and left the factory this way, while the dealer tried to hand off the trailer to me without addressing the problem. Several doors and drawers have been replaced due to damage (maybe during shipping?) Mechanical appliances not working now include furnace, microwave, and the largest of the two AC units. We have only used the trailer twice. We do like the appearance and floor plan. Our upcoming longer trip south will be a repair filled trip.

Our large dealer is close to useless since they first have to see the unit to diagnose. Then they schedule a repair for your next trip to the shop. They then order the part hoping it arrives before the appointment. If no part arrives by that second appointment, then schedule a visit again. We are in week 10 for the non-working microwave and no one can say when it will arrive.

Not asking for advice, just venting with an expensive, nice, new trailer that needs a lot of work. I have recently reached out to warranty department at Alliance since the dealer is so difficult to work with. I am crossing my fingers that they can help with some of the issues.

Alliance will work with mobile techs while under factory warranty. We bought our paradigm in 2024 and have not been back to dealer. Alliance sent parts to mobile techs to install parts. We are full time so we can’t leave at dealer for weeks. Call alliance and email with vin number. I have also purchased parts from the parts department while on road after warranty.

Good luck. My advice remains the same to new prospective buyers….buy a good used unit at $$$$$’s less, but you, as well as I, were fooled by the clever propaganda.

Good morning,,,sorry for your troubles,,,agree with your frustrations mentioned in your post,,,believe by contacting Alliance they will help resolve or clarfy/define where the bottlenecks are,,,we too chose Alliance after thorough research of our final 3 mfgrs.
Our experience is that Alliance was a good choice. Perfect,,,none are,,,quality oriented & focused on quick improvements to their products, in our opinion definitely a notch or two above the crowd. They have responded,,,quick atttion to our queries and needs,,,good customer service,,,,did assist on issues w their dealers & suppliers if the situations warrant their insertion into pinpointing the points of delay or boon doggles.
We bought a distress sale 5th wheel,,our final retirement home and while no unit is without issues are fortunate enough to be able to handle most issues we encounter ourselves. In the Few instances we have needed help Alliance has shown quick response and willingness to accept accredited Mobil rv techs findings and stood by their responsibilities. We would purchase from them again W no hesitation FWIW! Am certain other members will also weighin w their opinions & advice! Good luck 👍🌞🍀!

At this point I would give up on the dealer an attempt to bring the trailer directly to Alliance to straighten it out. Mobile techs are also an option but I think your problems are bigger than what a mobile tech can handle. If your selling dealer is not competent take the unit directly to Alliance.
Not sure what part of the country you're in and how easy it is to return the unit to Alliance but I think it is the most effective way to get it fixed correctly

Based on my experiences, and those of so many others, way too many dealers do not hold up there end of the bargain. I hope you’ve left an appropriate on-line rating for yours. Your RV bio and reasons for choosing Alliance are certainly consistent with so many of us. I will add that Bozo’s comment about buying used is pretty much verbatim what the couple who bought our last trailer said. Despite the many concerns about factory failures/mistakes shared on the forum, I am encouraged by the number of comments regarding Alliance’s responsiveness. We’ve all hitched our cart to their horse. I’m in WA State, so probably unlikely I would take a damaged trailer to them, but we bought from a long-established, family-owned dealer with a good service department and just two locations. I’ve had my Alliance trailer for only two months; fingers crossed hoping I never need them. Best of luck!
