Well, we finally did it, we bought a 2025 310RL. Found one online in Tennessee at a price we couldn't pass up and I made the drive up from Texas on Sunday and took possession of it on Monday.
The only issue thus far has been a minor one and I'm already in communication with Alliance and the dealer to resolve. While I was at the dealership I told them I wanted the bug screens installed, there are four of them. They installed them, no problem. I stayed Monday and Tuesday night at a nearby state park, just to test out the RV for issues. Finding none, except for not having a paper plate when I left on Monday and I picked that up on Tuesday, I hit the road Wednesday to my next overnight stay. It was a three hour drive and once I arrived, I did a walk around. I discovered that the bug screen and factory screen over the water heater were missing.
I immediately contacted the dealership. They said to contact Alliance. I asked about the missing bug screen that I got from them and that they installed. I was told to have Alliance reimburse me since their part came off, hence the bug screen as well. Okay, odd, but I shot off an email last night to Alliance. They were quick to respond this morning. I sent the pictures that they requested and explained the situation and the response from the dealer. I stopped tonight in Arkansas and checked my mail. Their response basically said the dealership should cover the bug screen. I agree with that statement. As Alliance did not address the missing factory part, I sent a picture of that piece, minus the bug screen, and I'm now waiting to see if they will send me the missing part. I will deal with the dealership tomorrow.
Is it a big deal? No, but for Pete's sake, it's a $20 dollar bug screen that they installed. You'd think as much money as the trailer cost, they'd eat the cost of a replacement bug screen? Hopefully, Alliance will at least send me the missing part?

I have not weighed the truck and trailer together yet. I intend on doing that next week. In the meantime, the rear of the truck sags a bit, not a lot, but enough that it bothers me. My first thought was to add air bags, but several experienced campers have told me to go with Super Springs instead. Cheaper and no maintenance or upkeep. Thoughts, suggestions?

So far, my general thoughts on the 2025 310RL. First of all, I love it. Does that mean it is perfect? No sir, there are some things I'd tell Alliance to correct. But overall, I am very pleased with the look, the layout, and the quality of the product. Too many good things to mention, so I'll mention the few minor things.
1. The new table. While I do like it and it's dual function. It is a bit weak and wobbly on the mount. They could do a better job of beefing it up.
2. There is next to zero space on either side of the king bed. Best way to get on the bed is to just crawl up from the foot of the bed. Barely any room to walk between the wall on the left or the closet doors on the right.
3. The window screens are a poor fit and leave gaps for bugs to enter. I was warned of this from a fellow forum member and he was right.
4. This is big one. They used frosted glass in the pantry door and it looks great. Problem is, when you open the right side of the refrigerator, if you aren't careful, the refrigerator door hits the frosted glass. It's a matter of time before the glass gets broken.
5. The new 'hidden compartment door' for the fireplace and TV is difficult to get open. Press down with your foot for the latch to release, then pry your fingers in the gap between the door and the wall to pull it open. Matter of time before the paint there is worn and dirty from your fingers.

Had I know of those issues in advance, would I have still bought it? Yes I would. I'll will just try to work on solutions to the problems.
Oh, for those wondering as I was. A Dyson vac will fit in the new hidden closet. I just laid it on the floor where there is also an electrical outlet. I will look into mounting the charging station once I get back home and have the time.

Congrats on the new RV. BTW....I don't think Alliance ever puts bugs screens on their RV's. I have even heard (most likely a rumor) that adding them could void warranty for that part, due to lower air flow.

Hmm. Well, the latest from Alliance is she is going to see if that vendor will send me another factory screen. She is supposed to let me know.
I have not had time to contact the dealer again. I just arrived back home with the RV. Made it home safely, no issues. Just a lot of dead bugs on the front cap.

Hope it works out for you. Not sure how Alliance will be on the hook for this part, as they don't install them..???:unsure::unsure:

I agree on the aftermarket bug screen. It's the missing part that came with the trailer that I'm trying to find out if they will replace. It shouldn't be that big of a deal to replace that factory screen? Either way, I'm not upset about it, just something that happened and I won't know if they'll replace it if I don't ask.

For those that may in the future be looking at a replacement mattress for their 310RL.
We had measured the included Serta RV Mattress and it appeared to be 72" x 80" so that is what we ordered. We ordered an RV King, 72" x 80", 8" memory foam.
I believe they also make it in a 70" x 80" which would have been a better fit. At the head of the bed the mattress is 'wedged' in between the shelves located on each side of the bed. While it probably is not a big deal, and may keep the mattress from moving while traveling, the 70" would not be wedged.
Just FYI.

Congratulations
Here is my 340 weights
Almost 18k with the moryde independent suspension and loaded. 3640 pin weight. It was 13200 on the original axles and you can see the 8k Morryde axles added about 1k. If I don’t put into air in the bags it just touches the overload springs on my dually. I run approx 30 psi and it lifts it off the springs a touch. Pretty much dead nuts level as they raised it two inches in the back with the new suspension

Thanks HRJ, it's on my 'to do list' to unload the truck and trailer then go weigh them both. I'll post the results once I get it done.
And also, for those that have been following my posts since I joined the forum a couple months ago. I was concerned about the height of the RV and it fitting under my carport. Thankfully, it fit with room to spare. Big relief.

Especially love the 'shadow' lights I installed under the C channel along the sides. Lights up the drivers side just as I had hoped.

Alliance will send me the missing part. I'll have to see if the dealership will replace the missing bug screen. Thank you Alliance for taking care of me. I appreciate it.
The shadow lights on my carport are actually LED tube lights from Amazon. A four pack of 48" dual 'bulb' lights is around $42. I put four on each side of the carport and used dual sided tape to mount them underneath the C channel. They are hidden and out of sight when not in use, but at night, when I flip the switch, they provide a crazy amount of light. My intention when I mounted them was to provide light on the left side of the RV and they do that extremely well.
The eight pocket lights on the ceiling were $7 each and they provide more than enough light to illuminate the whole carport.

I haven't decided on how I will level the truck. My original thought was to go with air bags, but now I'm considering and researching Super Springs. The other option is the Roadmaster system, but I'm not sure if those are intended for a 1 ton which comes with extra leaf springs already.

The link to Amazon for the the LED lights I put under the C channel.

Hi Dee,
Nice job on the 310RL! It is the same one we are looking at. Will new a new truck too. Look at Timbrens or TorkLift StableLoad Suspension Upgrade for Upper Overload springs to level your truck. Can see them on etrailer.com

What does your trucks door jam say your maximum payload and hitch weight is and compare it to the numbers when you have it all weighed at the scale, hopefully fully loaded and ready to travel to give you the most accurate numbers. We would prefer a SRW GMC 3500 but I think the 310RL, depending on what options are on it and what it is load up with may require a dually?? Hopefully you are within the limits and very interested what your real world numbers are as we are looking at a similar set up (2025 GMC 3500HD CC SRW with duramax) to tow a 310RL soon but unsure if it will exceed the RAWR, hitch rating and payload rating. Has been difficult to get real world numbers before we buy. Just finished a new garage 58' deep and 32' wide deep with 16 foot walls so ready for the new RV soon!

As he said Timbrens. The loadmaster may not be enough. I had those on a 1500 towing a tag. I had Timbrens on my 2500 Duramax but still added bags.

As I reflect on return trip, roughly 850 miles, I wanted to comment on the Gen-Y gooseneck system. As my GMC came factory with the gooseneck setup, I really wanted to go that route versus installing a 5th wheel system in the bed. No regrets so far.
Having no experience at all pulling with a 5th wheel system, I can only tell you about my experience with the Gen-Y. I've heard and read from many, including Gen-Y, that it can take up to a 1000 miles for it to break in. Before that break in period, you could experience a rough ride, chucking and bucking, etc.
Honestly, I may have felt some chucking and bucking on the first couple hundred miles, but the roads were two lane roads through the countryside. You'd expect that I'd think.
Overall, I felt that the truck and trailer performed well and yes, I did feel the trailer behind me, but I never felt an excess amount of chucking/bucking and was impressed with how well the truck pulled a large, 13' tall, heavy trailer.
Being anxious to see how well my SRW 3500HD Duramax would pull the trailer, I'm glad to report that it did so with ease. I was always shocked when I'd glance down at my RPM gage to see I was running 65 MPH at 1400 RPM.
My fuel mileage wasn't horrible. Without the trailer, the truck will average 20-21 MPG. With the trailer, it dropped to 9-10 MPG, and that's through the up and down roads of Tennessee. I can live with that.

Thanks for the update Dee. Making me jealous. Can't wait to hit the road when we get our new truck and 310rl. Please post your numbers once you get it on the scales. Is great info for me and others.
