Hey @Jim Beletti, I've got 2 Soft Starts I was going to install on our Montana HC, but never did due to us deciding to upgrade to the 340. We're not boon docking and we're not generating. But we'll probably be places that only have 30A. Do you think it's necessary to install these on the 340...
@Jim Beletti - I'm going to ask the guys at Noteboom RV in S.D. to do a thorough and complete PDI before we get there. For me, their inspection would be to look for anything that might require replacement parts. Then as you said, we'd do our own. I like your idea of camping close to them for...
I was always taught that the only dumb question was the one not asked. 😀 That being said, I remember watching an Owner Empowerment video on the hydraulic system and if I remember correctly, it was for all of 'em.
Sweet setup Coltsdad!
Jim, I think if I read Coltsdad's post correctly, he goes from the filters to the softener to the panel. Which is what I did on our Montana HC and what I'll do on our 340 when I pick it up.
I've read where people have gone thru the softener first, but that makes no sense...
We have the 4 point system on a Montana High Country. (Waiting on our 340RL) So while you know all about the 6 point system and not so much about the 4 point, I'm just the opposite. :ROFLMAO: You should be able to raise the tires off the ground (one side at a time for safety), I've done it...
Thanks Jim. There's been a couple of times it's lifted the tires off the ground on one side to get level. If I can, I reset and do a manual level. I do the maintenance work in my driveway, so that's never been a problem. I did have a low tire once that I changed out by raising that side up...
Good to know we can lower these down a bit. Am I correct that you didn't experience and clearance problems while traveling or camping? One more question, kinda the same as Nick's above. With my current 5r, I can extend the landing gears (jacks) and lift the wheels off the ground (one side at...
I plan on using probe I use for my grill. I'll run the wire out the door to the monitor that'll set it on the counter. I had a pizza stone but it broke the first time I used it. Guess I wasn't supposed to put it on the bottom. 😄😄 I then started to use one of my wife's air bake cookie sheets...
Greetings all. We're not officially Allies yet, but we do have a 340 on order. Waiting on double pane windows. Any knowledge I bring to the table is from previous rv's. Keystone Passport, Forest River Windjammer (let's not talk about that one) and a Montana High Country. Hopefully soon...
I guess I'm a little confused. PVC piping I understand. PVC flooring I understand. But a flexible PVC roof material, I do not understand. The material I read talks about a rubber roof. Soooo, are these roofs PVC bonded to rubber? Or am I understanding wrong? Which is extremely possible...
