Cordless impacts are awesome. One problem, they wreak havoc on these lug nuts that have the outside casing. Most of the time splitting them.
I use a 24 inch breaker bar to try to help minimize the damage.
Been using TST now for I guessing 12 years. Had to dial in the settings to compensate for temperature/pressure changes during travel days. But it has been awesome.
It is part of my pre-travel checklist to check tire pressures.
It has set quiet for years…… until last trip. And then it was worth...
Does your spindle have a grease fitting where you can pump grease into the bearings? I heard that those system can be problematic and can blow out the rear seal.
Haha. I tell my wife it will help her dry sense of humor. We’ll see how that goes.
I agree with @stanburnb A shunt will help keep track of all your usage and your state of charge.
When I installed our lithium/inverter set up, we did a trial night running just off battery. Watching the increase of amp draw every time we turned on an appliance, lights, fridge, etc. We also wanted to run my wife’s CPAP machine as well. I was rather surprised on the amperage draw with the...
I’ve ran into this problem quite often. Especially when I haven’t used the water pump in a while.
-I set all the valves to “sanitize”
-I hook up a short hose that only reaches from the connection to the bucket on the ground.
-Then I hold the hose end up in the air and use a small funnel and...
We wrapped them from the outside. We tried doing it from the inside. But it just did not look right. As soon as we wrapped from the outside. We knew we liked it. We are starting our fourth season with the wrap. From 100° weather to negative degree weather and not one bubble has formed.
We wanted a touch of blue in our living area of our Avenue. So we, Vinyl wrapped the glass. We did this before we went on our first trip. We could not stand seeing objects through the cabinets. Worked perfectly to hide the frosted glass.
RV Hydraulic disc brakes have been around far longer than the common solar systems on RVs. And along with the disc brake actuators, there has been residential refrigerators, running off of inverters, pulling power from the battery. And this was well before lithium batteries were common.
I plan on something similar. For now I just used a spare 30amp RV cord and plugged directly into the inverter.
I’m probably going to hardwire an RV outlet from the inverter to the inside basement wall and come up through the access point like you did.
We just did a test night with our new 2000w inverter/300 AH battery bank.
