252RL Question About A/Cs

I will be purchasing a new 2026 Delta 252RL next week. I have a question about the 2 air conditioners. The LR AC is ducted through the LR and bathroom. The bedroom AC only cools the bedroom. It is not ducted at all to the LR or bathroom (this info came from the dealer). My question is if anybody has this setup and how it works in really hot weather. Being from southeast Texas, I am concerned that whenever I have a problem with the rear AC that the trailer will not cool well at all with the bedroom AC only blowing in the bedroom. Looking for any info on functionality if anybody has a setup like this. Thanks.

On our ductless unit in the bedroom you can open or close the cooling vents so I open the vents that direct the flow back down the rv hallway to the kitchen/living room. I close all of the other vents. With this setup the bedroom remains plenty cool & the bedroom ac helps cool the downstairs area.

Ducted or not ducted, one unit is not going to adequately cool in very hot weather.
Yes if one unit fails to operate the RV will not cool properly. But the issue will be cooling capacity not ducting.

Thanks for the answers. I'm used to my 40 ft fifth wheel that was fully ducted on both A/Cs. I know 2 is necessary here in Texas for sure. Anyway, I just hope there's no A/C issues for a long time. I'm ready to get it... don't want to wait til next week.

Trust me... I already do that. Being from southeast Texas that's the only way to live. Most likely they will both be running cold at night, too. Anyway, I will pick it up Tuesday next week. I'm excited and ready to start enjoying it. I will be staying at the dealer for 1 or 2 nights and if there are any problems they can check them out while I'm there.

We left ours with the dealer, so I didn't have to deal with disposing of it. I had our replacement mattress shipped to the dealer.

I'm currently out with the new trailer with outside temps pushing 100 degrees, heat index at 110 or more, and mega humidity (well, it is summer in Texas) and the trailer in the sun but I can say that the air conditioners are working great. They are keeping the trailer around 74 in the middle of the day with nearly 100 outside. I have no complaints.
