Is this a delamination?

This is my first RV. We brought it home 8 days ago. I can’t tell if this is a delamination or not. There was a spot above this corner that my inspector noted the sealant had a small gap. He assured me it did not represent water damage. It was resealed by the dealer. I don’t really trust the inspector as there was stuff he missed and he didn’t crawl under the camper etc. I also don’t trust the dealer as they tried to tell me some gaps in the caulking on a window were normal. I realize all this makes me sound like “one of those customers.” Still, I’m not sure what’s normal or who to trust at this point.

It’s very hard to tell from a picture.
Is it soft or spongy if you push on it?
If you tap on it does it sound and feel solid?
If you rub your hand over it does it feel rough?

Is it a textured area in the middle of a smooth panel?

I will bet that is just printing from a stud directly behind that space. It's just too straight to be delamination IMO.

Not spongy. Actually firmer than the rest. Smooth. Sounds solid.
My $0.02 ,,,,All good signs,,,am sure you have checked wall & roof sealants closely already for possible sealant failure potential,,,isa it always visible? In cool mornings stud layouts sometimes are evident due to diiference in heat transfer,,,can also take a longer straightedge to check for flatness or deformation,,,differing wall color may read lighting differently,,,black area almost reads like a “mirror reflection” of adjacent area shadows ? Delamination I have seen before is not uniform and is actually not flat,,,,more bumpy & irregular,,,,,others w more experience may have better input or suggestions! Good attention to your rig,,,,good luck as you move forward,,,,👍🍀

I've had a similar bulge/bump/bend? on the front, near the top on both sides, of my last three trailers, including my 2026 Alliance 262RB. It's very subtle and only visible in the right conditions. The caulk was fine, no leaks, and wasn't a problem for the time I owned the trailers. I'm guessing this is a product of their manufacturing technique with both Forest River and Alliance.

My 262RB is parked off-site but I'll try to get a picture this week.
