While I am unable to answer your direct question, have you tried pulling the light switch from the wall to see if you have power to the switch. And if so, jumping the two switch wires together to see if they light up?
Also, remember it take a ground connection to compete the circuit, so if that is missing the result would be a no light condition as well.
A meter or test light would be helpful to perform tests to help narrow your issue down.
Great advice. Stopped for the night and pulled the switch. There's power to the switch and when jumped, there's light. I suspect bad switch and incorrect connections. Now that I know the issue, I'll add it to the discrepancy list for the dealer to correct. It's only an annoyance during this trip. Thanks.

Unfortunately, it wasn't the switch. One week into travelling, the lights blinked off and wouldn't come back. Made it to the Alliance rally where the Alliance technicians swapped out another switch. Once power was applied, the switch "popped" and surprised the technician. I got a short somewhere in the ceiling. Now dealing with service to resolve the issue. Service wants is diagnosed before authorizing repair. Go figure.
I mean, if you're going to have an issue, have it at the National Rally. However, reading your message makes me think the problem was not resolved prior to Rally ending? ....that sucks!!
