My wife and I are looking at full time here in the near future. I have been rving for about 3 years and we had a list of what we needed for our next rig and the 2026 292rl fit the bill. We took a look at one and loved the layout and storage. My concerns are reviews online talking about plumbing, slides and those types of issues. I know most people who are happy with their rig don't post as much as those who are having problems with them. The other rig we are considering is the Brinkley i280. Has anyone had experiences with build quality and the reliability of the 292rl.

First...congrats on being able to RV full time 
Next...All RV's will have issues, just know that going in. Alliance will help with issues that pop up during warranty. For most issues you find, if your are handy with repairs, you can get them done on our own. You might need to find a remote RV tech, as you'll be on the road and not able to use dealer.

Its quicker just to send them an Email with good pictures and a good explanation of the problem. If you call, they will tell you the same

Congratulations & Welcome to the forum from Oregon! We agree w the comments above & have found Alliance to be very responsive and helpful with any issues & follow-up if there are dealership issues. Download Jim's PDI in his signature and make sure you book the several hours with the dealer to do all of it. Don't allow them to not hook up water, sewer, and electric to test all systems thoroughly. As he said, all RV's will have issues, they are apartments put together with self tapping screws that we drag down the road. His PDI applies to ANY brand you go with.

This is 2 years old now so the other brands may have changed by now but my only experience has been with Alliance who is seemingly still bettering their systems based on user experience.

We own a 2025 Delta 292RL and absolutely love it. We've had a few very minor issues with it, all of which I handled with Alliance myself. In my opinion, the Delta 292RL has a lot of advantages over our previous 2022 Grand Design Imagine 2670MK. Alliance uses Azdel composite panels instead of the Luan backed panels that are prone to rot when wet. Alliance also only uses rack and pinion slide out systems on the Delta 292RL. Our old Imagine 2670MK used the problem prone Schwinteck slide out mechanism on the kitchen slide out and it was a constant source of worry for us. The kitchen slide out on our old Imagine trailer would sometimes get stuck going in or out. Fortunately we were always able to get the slide out to work properly, but I felt that it was just a matter of time before we had a real problem with it. Friends of ours were on 6 week trip and their Schwintech slide out failed 2 weeks into the trip and they unable to use it on the rest of the trip. This may not sound like much but I can also operate the slide-outs and awnings on our Delta 292RL from outside the trailer as well as inside. With our other trailers, opening the slide out and awnings was often a two person job. One of us stood out side to watch making sure that we didn't hit something. Alliance also made the pump and solar control very accessible and easy to find. It's behind the panel in the pass through storage compartment. In our other trailers the pump was never easy to access, it was either buried under cabinet or hidden under a random drawer.
We tow it with a Ford F250 Diesel using a Hensley Arrow hitch.
Lastly, whatever trailer you buy you should follow Chasewston's advice and make sure that you test everything. If you have any questions or comments feel free to reach out.

Sorry for delayed follow up on our furnace issue. I worked with it myself and got it working without reaching out to Alliance. It's been so long ago now that I don't recall exactly what I did but it works great now. We've camped once so far in our 292RL and it went great. Headed out again in a few weeks for a long weekend.
