You might need to remove a false wall in order to see/access it.Hi, just bought a new Valor 35A14. Does anyone know where to find the Lippert Leveler Fill Reservoir? We've looked in all the compartments and haven't seen it. Nothing in the owners manual that we could find.
That’s genius!Once you check that it’s at the proper level one time with the jacks up and hitched up go ahead and unhitch. Just the landing gear. No rooms or leveling other than with the landing gear. Get you a good Sharpie and mark the new, lower, level. That’ll be your new “Full”.
That only works if you unhitch in the exact same location to the exact same unhitching height. It is far from foolproof or exactOnce you check that it’s at the proper level one time with the jacks up and hitched up go ahead and unhitch. Just the landing gear. Lantley, that is a great point, I guess I just assumed George was suggesting that it would always be referenced to his storage location, where maintenance is normally done. That only works if you unhitch in the exact same location to the exact same unhitching height. You raise an excellent point about the variability.
George I do think your idea has merit and is useful. However it is not equivalent to having all jacks and slides retracted.@Lantley I'm not sure the fluid level has to be that exact or foolproof. 🤷🏼♂️
I admit I could add that the first level check should be done while level — whether hitched or on jack stands. The second check for marking should be on a fairly level area as level as the landing gear can get. I guarantee you'll be close enough for all in tents and porpoises. 😉
Ok, thanks we will look for it there. We did not see a removable false wall but we will look again. I will let you know if I don't find it.. Probably couldnt see it if it was on top of the hydraulic unit. Are you asking about the hydraulic system? If so, the cap is on top of the unit, inside the battery compartment.
NOTE...only fill to the full line with ALL SLIDES IN and JACKS UP.
