What material is used in the floors?

There is a soft spot on our floor in the kitchen area, we don’t think it’s water damage as all the floor around it is totally normal. I’ve been told that the 2022 avenues have azdel flooring? Is this true?
I can’t find the information anywhere on their website site.
If it’s not wood flooring the the spot is just soft from being walked on too much?

You are correct about the floor on the Avenue. Azdel with foam block core. There is aluminum frame work in there too. A few factory tour videos online that show it.

I know nothing about azdel floors ( other than what I just googled) but was actually shocked to read that as an answer. In my mind, it just does not sound like a good idea. Close to zero knowledge on the subject, I guess a bias based opinion. Interesting.

Great video and you can learn about how they make them. This is for the paradigm but I think he discusses both and some of the differences.

14:30 is where they start talking about the floor. Thanks for sharing this! I did go to the factory to see my rig being built and do the factory tour. I think I have the media from that visit loaded up here on the site. That aside, I believe my 2025 Paradigm has a wood composite floor, wrapped with a synthetic waterproof barrier. I may be incorrect, but I recall (maybe incorrectly) the platform material was an iteration of OSB. I can recall the synthetic barrier for sure (it was a unique brown color that stood out).

Time will tell on those floors. I wonder how floor replacement would go, if I damaged it, like I did? I guess I would just glue a new piece on top. Time will also tell how attaching Kitchen Islands and other items will stand the test of time. My 2023 370FB is all OSB and nothing else and I have had screws popping out over the past 3 years.

What would be a real winner for the DIY crowd, would be Laminated walls on top of a partial Laminated floor around the edges and OSB in the middle. That way a floor can be replaced without removing slides or jacking the walls. Basically design the flooring into panels, so they can be removed without getting into the side walls. They could do the same with any system really.

Until then, I am going to try my best, not to screw up my linoleum again!!

Glad I found this thread. I was just getting ready to post something about this and also I will be contacting Alliance. we have a 2024 Avenue 32, RLS and right at the front door when you come in. we're starting to feel soft spots all over the area and if you continue to walk straight towards the refrigerator, we're feeling it there too. I was thinking that it was possibly water damage but there is none. this unit is brand new. upon reading this, I'm guessing we have the asdell floor also with the foam and just think it's heavy traffic areas that we walk in. we have a lot of people come in and out of our trailer like the grandkids and my son and my daughter and her husband etc. so we're always having people go in and out the door area. also starting to feel some to the left of the island when you walk in and turn left. anyone else experiencing this? anybody know how this can be solved and fixed?

Thanks,,,our Paradigm,,,2023 , has the one piece OSB wrapped w the synthetic waterproof barrier,,,no seams or soft spots so far! 👍🌞

I'm guessing this is just a Brand name for OSB.
It says "Seamless" which I did not remember.
Notice also "25 year limited warranty"? 🤷🏼‍♂️
This is in the "100 Features" brochure for my year.
