32RLS Best Short Bed Sliding Hitch

Logistically speaking, how did you install yourself? The dealer I bought 32 RLS from got suddenly less friendly when I said I wanted to change the pin box before I picked up the FW. They want to charge $1800 to install. Plus inflated hitch cost. If they won’t let me send in a non-improved GB I might have to change direction.
I gave the dealer a heads up before the purchase. I asked if I could install it in their lot and they didn’t have an issue with it. After we signed the paper work, I asked if they could pull it out of their shop and they told me that I was welcome to swap it right there. One of the techs let me use their air supply which made it easier than me using my generator and compressor.

I was able to use blocks to get it aligned or at least close enough to make it work. Simply backed the truck under the bare pin box and used a small jack to lift it in place. Only took me 45min as I had done a few dry runs in my driveway before we made the 7hr drive to the dealer. When I got home, I adjusted it to the highest bolt pattern.

I don't know what truck you have that your looking for the slider hitch for but I do have this for sale only used for about 9 or 10 hookups. This is the picture from e-trailer but the one on the truck is almost brand new for a very reasonable price. Located in AZ.
Thx, I’m Ram 3500, location Maine. Doesn’t sound like a match but appreciate offer
