Is this drip normal?

Washed the RV 7 days ago and immediately parked and leveled it in the shop. Pulled the rv out today and noticed a wet spot in the truck bed. Water was dripping from the end of the trim (circled area). Maybe it’s leftover water from washing?
I inspected the seals around the cap and didn’t find any issues. I did see where the trim ends it may have a small section that could use sealant around the screw (area circled in pictures)

What else could it be? Leaking water supply line in the closet? I don’t have a washer/dryer. I get a little jumpy at the thought of a leak. Maybe I’m overthinking it?

Hard to say for sure, but 7 days after wash says leak to me. Either water intrusion or internal. Need to investigate/keep an eye on this for sure.

Well crap. How "water tight" is the area around the king pin?
I should have mentioned it wasn't much water. Just enough to make a wet spot on the ground. A leak from that area seems odd. I'll search inside the closet and inspect the washer feed lines. I can't recall if they are capped off or just have valves?

Is it only in the morning that you observe the drip? If so, it is very likely condensation. I have had the same drip in the morning in cooler temperatures.

It was in a heated shop and leveled, no drips when inside. Hooked it up and pulled it outside and some drips in the truck bed. Not a lot but enough to notice. The rv was completely dry when I pulled it out.

My thought was if any water was trapped around the kingpin area it didn’t all drain out when level inside the shop and during lifting to hitch it up water found a new low point and dripped out.
I wasn’t shy with the hose when I washed the front and underside of the overhang.

I can’t find any issues with the seal around the outside of the front cap. It all looks good. I didn’t check around the clearance lights so that would be my next step along with interior closet.

I wouldn't be concerned. Washing it with a hose puts water in places in would not normally be. You are forcing water into areas not foreseen to be wet. As long as nothing is getting into the interior I think you are OK

I had that happen on my 310 and seemed to come from trim channel where it curves down to nose. Looked like it was following the channel down to nose. Caulked it and seemed to fix it.

I think I looked like a squirrel crossing a street looking for a leak. I was at an alliance gathering and noted many others had the same. Unfortunately, that’s not the answer here. Sorry.

I can see why water may drip from this area. Is your RV wide open behind the brackets/kingpin mounts? Road spray on a wet day would cause this area to collect water. Has anybody come up with a solution to try and stop moisture from getting in?
