Has anyone upgraded to a lithium battery? And if so will I have to upgrade the converter to be able to charge them.I gather that they need a different charging profile.
OPTIONAL OUTPUT MODE SWITCH: The optional OUTPUT MODE SWITCH sets the converter output to either a constant 14.6VDC with the Charge Wizard® disabled (switch in ‘LI’ position) or a nominal 13.6VDC with full Charge Wizard® function (switch in ‘LA’ position). ‘LI’ mode is intended for use with lithium batteries with a BMS requiring a constant converter output. ‘LA’ mode is intended for use with lead/acid batteries where the Charge Wizard® will optimize battery charging.
I think this is what he meant to link:Jim - great info. The link you mentioned doesn’t work, at least I couldn’t get it to. Is there an updated link.

Have you been able to track down your converter? Our 2024 310 RL has everything integrated into a single panel.I have a 2025 Paradigm 310RL with on board gen set and the standard single solar panel. I do not find a switch in my panel? I have ordered 2 200ah lithium batteries and I can't see where any switch would be?
My panel door says it is a Progressive Dynamics PD 5500 Distribution Panel.
Frustrated!
My guess is that your converter is hid somewhere and is a newer style.Have you been able to track down you converter? Our 2024 310 RL has everything integrated into a single panel.
Your set up is entirely different, are you certain you only have the standard Solar set up? I have not seen this panel before.
I have the 320 something w, single solar panel, generator on board and 1 lead-acid battery. My guess is that your converter is hid somewhere and is a newer style.
I found this link explaining what to look for and how to change it, if my guess is correct.

Let us know how you make out.
I have the 320 something w, single solar panel, generator on board and 1 lead-acid battery.
I can see the controller from the storage compartment, but I can't find another access to it. It is too fat from the opening to get to it because of all the wiring, plumbing, etc...!
This is a big mess!
Any chance you can unscrew the distribution panel and pull it out some? Would this give you access to the converter?I have the 320 something w, single solar panel, generator on board and 1 lead-acid battery.

Understood and appreciate the clarity.Yes, the blue one is the Solar box, I just showed that to give a better idea of my system. The other picture shows the Progressive Dynamics number.
Most of the post I can find say that I can switch the controller to Lithium on the panel, but I can't see any switch.
The next idea is to switch it on the controller itself, but I don't see or know how to get to the controller? My rig was built May of 2025!
I, too, have a 2025 310RL but no genset. When I swapped from 88AH of lead acid to a 300AH LiFePO, I had the same frustration with my distribution panel switch.I have a 2025 Paradigm 310RL with on board gen set and the standard single solar panel. I do not find a switch in my panel? I have ordered 2 200ah lithium batteries and I can't see where any switch would be?
