2026 Valor 36V11. Battery not accepting solar in full Sun...

I'm a total newbie. Just picked up our Valor a couple days ago. I have the solar package plus and currenty, in full sun, and my battery is not charging via the solar panels. The generator charges it fine. It was charging off solar when I first arrived home, but not anymore. No blown fuses or errors seen on the monitor. I have the battery shut-off in the OFF position, I turned off the inverter, and the solar shut-off switch is in the ON postion. When I look at the monitor, there is nothing going to the battery.

Congratulations on your purchase!
The main battery switch should be in the on position as well.
Switch it on and see what happens.

Well, I may have not thought this the whole way thru🤔!
I stand by my advice for testing purposes and normal usage. It would be wise to turn the main on to see if the system charges.
However, after reflection of your post, I was wondering if you meant that your rig was in storage and not in active use.
If that is the case, your main master can be in the off position and the solar should be in the on position and the solar should be able to charge the battery in storage. If it isn’t charging, there could be blown fuse or a mis landed wire that is preventing battery charging with the main off.

I store our 310RL(standard Solar) in the driveway with the main off and the solar on and always have a charged battery.

Sorry, I may not have fully understood your post before answering and should have ask a question or two, to provide a more accurate answer.

Thanks all for the great info. I called my dealers service department, and they got me straightened out. I have to keep my battery kill switch off and my solar kill switch on. I was misreading the monitor too. I was thinking the discharge statement on the monitor meant the battery charge level. It was discharging at 23%, meaning my battery is 77% charged. They said that the soalr plus package request solar when needed. It does not take solar power till it reaches a specific threshold (not sure what that is yet).

Ugh...in the image you attached (cut out and shown below) you only have 30% of your battery remaining and you're not getting any power from your solar panels as "solar yield" shows 0 watts. The solar system will try to charge all the time, unless the battery is full and no power is being drawn from RV.....not a "specific threshold". Sorry, but your dealer doesn't understand your system.

You can see in the second image, my RV's solar system is trying to still power the battery bank with 213w (out of 2000 watts on roof) , even though I am on 50 amp service

So, do you have the battery turned on (battery shutoff knob in on position), inverter off (inverter power button to off), and solar on (solar shut off knob in the on posuition).

Battery is completely dead now. I can't even start the generator to charge it up. I guess we're not going on vacation today! Ugh! :(

Can you charge your batteries with a charger or jumpstart your genset to salvage your vacation plans?

Are you sure you don’t have a blown solar fuse up on the roof? Would you happen to have a solar controller with a screen on it that you could take a picture of and post?

Your latest picture still shows basically zero solar output, if I am reading it correctly.

I have no shore power. The battery is completey drained. I can't do anything. The generator does not have pull start.

Test the MPPT controllers output by putting a volt meter on these terminals....let us know what is reads. I am assuming your RV is in full sunlight so the panels can work.

Folks, 12 volts DC is 12 volts Dc, so you could consider Jump Starting your genset from your truck if necessary.
Additional picture’s of your system might be helpful to leverage the power of this forum.
