I am convinced the brochure empty weights of the 340RL for 2025 are WRONG!! I trusted those numbers prior to purchasing truck and RV. Brochure says pin weight empty is 2700lbs (rough number). I ended up getting F350 single rear wheel platinum with 3906 payload capacity. I knew the pin weight loaded would be close under the configuration we planned to be - part time use, limited gear, minimal water NO GEAR IN TRUCK. We bought the Anderson hitch to keep weight to a minimum.
Now we find the reported weight by the on board system to be “over capacity”. I have not yet verified any weights at a scale. I believe the brochure weights are for the older suspension/pin box. At any rate with the very very limited amount of gear we have with us we should not be overweight.
Is anyone else finding the brochure information questionable??

@Lantley 's point, Alliance shares "...approximate base weight of the trailer without optional equipment included..." If you look at my pin weights above (2025 340RL, no generator, base solar, toppers, independent suspension), they are not far off from the brochure. Independent suspension improves weight distribution compared to leaf springs.
I'm curious if you have checked the hitched rig alignment to see if it is nose down. If it is nose down, lowering the kingpin, or raising the hitch head, may get you closer to where you want to be by shifting load to be more equally shared by the truck and the trailer.
@Lantley is correct again that this rig is definitely in dually territory, though mine towed flawlessly fully loaded, no water, with my 2024 F350 SRW 6.7L PS, 3.31 rear end, CC, SB, Lariat Ultimate, 7230 rear axle rating with 4140 in available payload. If any of you are here in Florida, you know we had terrible wind here last week and I was not pushed around at all when towing. It tracked absolutely beautifully!
Though this does not address your question, we are very likely going to the Gen Y hitch from a B&W Companion Slider. This will remove ~300 pounds from the payload when loaded.
