Screw length for solar panels, etc.

I want to add a Dish antenna to the roof and then some solar panels. What is the decking thickness for the roof on a 2021 310RL? I want to make sure I get the right size screws for everythin.

I believe the roof decking is 3/8". I generally use 1" long fasteners. For my solar panels, I used 1" SS lag screws with a hex head and drove them in with a small impact driver. I pre-drilled the holes as well.

Can the panels be mounted anywhere on the roof or do I need to find a stringer or stud to mount the brackets to?

When I’ve mounted solar panels on my RV roofs, I’ve used the typical z-brackets. And I’ve mounted those where I wanted without regard to support structure in the roof.
