I don’t understand the last part of your post, but the tire needs to be off the ground to add grease via the EZ Lube fitting on the end of the spindle, you have to rotate the tire while pumping in the grease.
I was just speaking to those of us, who are just doing the basic greasing and pay someone else to pack the bearings or replace them. I have greased many parts of heavy machinery, but anything with rubber tires, I am a novice. The last part was saying, I thought my grease fittings were seized with dirt and would not take grease....until I took the pressure off the bearing. I was about to yank off the tire and do way more than what was needed...hence checking the fuse, before removing the engine. Some comedy, just doesn't land right at times.
