What size 20V Impact Wrench do I Need?

I am wondering what size and diameter Impact Wrench do I need for changing a Tire on the Paradigm? Is it 1”, 1/2” ?
Any make or models you like shoot me a link.

I use the 20V Dewalt 1/2" as well. Here are the specs from the manual. It has several modes.

I use this to take lugs off and then to quickly tighten down (truck and RV). I then use this Craftsman 1/2" torque wrench to tighten RV lugs down to 120 foot pound.

Hey Jim, 1 inch impact guns are very common in Class 8 Truck repair shops. Mostly used as tire changing guns.
They are big, heavy and need a ton of air to operate them. Oh, and hang on if you ever try to operate one!😂

I carry a breaker bar and a torque wrench.
I've had two flats in our 14 years of travel. Is it really necessary to have an impact tool on the road? Not worth it IMHO.
I have ¼", ⅜", and ½" at home and use them there but I get by on the road.

OK, I admit that I have a 1/2" DeWalt impact wrench. I actually have a 1/2" pneumatic one as well. But somehow we have been drawn into the illusion that we can't do anything, including putting a screw in or out, with some sort of power tool. I've seen YouTube videos of people using drill motors or impact drivers to screw/unscrew a delicate screw! Who still uses a screwdriver?

Milwaukee fuel 18v impacts, absolutely, destroy the competition. Most of my tire changes around home, I use a 3/8” Milwaukee fuel impact. That does most(the torque beats a lot of 1/2” stuff). For the really tuff truck stuff, a Milwaukee fuel 1/2” gets the call. They far outperform the air tools and dewalt. I have them all, but Milwaukee is the go to. On the road, definitely, Milwaukee. I hate roadside tire changes, so speed is of utmost importance.

+1 for Milwaukee Fuel High torque 1/2" impact. I carry this with us and have used it to rotate wheels, swap spares on the rv, upgrade bolts on the pin box, etc. I have had the one I have now for over a decade and it is a tank. I accidentally left it in the floor board of my old jeep once and it was partially buried in wet sand that had dried and hardened, and after a year or two of it blowing sand in my face from the vents, it still works as new!

I even use my fuel 1/4" hex driver with 3/8" drive attachment and 19mm socket to drop the spare versus the crank thing that comes with the RV.

Dang...I'm an tech guy (30 years...retired now). So tools are fun for me, but I never used them daily. What in the world would need 1000 foot pounts of torque? WOW!!

you would be surprised, especially when working on anything that lives in the rust belt.

OH...my mind was ONLY think of 1000 foot pound of torque for putting on lug/nut. Wasn't even thinking how awesome 1000 foot pound would be for REMOVING something!!!

I do. I have an electric drill for drilling holes, but everything else I do is with hand tools.

Glad we can all have a bit of humor! The only thing that sucks as you get older, is you generally don't have a project buddy to cut up with while you work. I find myself talking out loud and cutting on my dumb crap as I work....the fun of getting older...LOL. Maybe we should have Alliance DIY events. Being a Marine and a heavy civil contractor, I am betting the camp fire talk would be hilarious!
