Weight distribution and hitch 252 RL

Hello, about to embark on 3500 miles trip.
Towing Delta 252 RL with a Sierra 1500 Duramax with towing package etc. (13000 lbs). GCWR 19000. And then we have so many more confusing values….gooseneck rating etc.

Trying to be as preventive as possible.
This is my hitch weight.
I have 250 lbs of E bikes on the back rack that are not shown here yet.
2 adults 350 lb and 2 dogs 170 lbs.
On the bed of the truck another 350-400 lbs of stuff.
Am I over-thinking it?
Should I place more cargo behind the 2nd axis?
Last month we Went up and down Big Bear lake from Phoenix without many issues. 11.7 Mpg avg. Slow of course.
I would love to hear any advice/comment you may have.

OK it appears right now your trailer weighs 8400#. 1100 pin weight via the scale reading and 7300 via the CAT scale weight.
At 8400 # ideally your tongue weight would be 15% or .15x 8400=1260
So you are a tad light, but OK. If you put 250 on a back rack it will reduce your tongue weight, which is not what you want you need to maintain the correct TW. Currently your drive axle is 3860 max axle is 4150 Leaving 300 pounds before you exceed you axle rating.
Are you also saying dogs, people and gear are not included yet?
If so you are likely going to exceed your rear axle rating which is a hard fast do not exceed figure.
Also bikes on the rear are going to lighten your tongue weight which may create its own separate set of problems.
Too light of a tongue creates sway which is not good.
Lastly you wrote "without many issues" Does that imply you had at least 1 issue?

Thank you for your reply. No I did not have any problems… yet. Trying to anticipate any.
Your max payload is 1522? And you have a tongue weight about 1100lbs? So 422lbs for driver, passenger, dogs, camping stuff? If that's all correct, probably need an HD truck.
To be correct, the scale report is 6 months old. Before this trip. But pretty much has by“almost” everything we have now except the generator on the back of the truck. About 110 Lbs.

If you really want to know where you stand, you need to get a current accurate CAT scale and tongue weight measurement/data.
Anything else is just conjecture at this point.
From what you have posted so far you are right at the edge of your limits.
However it appears the data you posted was not totally accurate and up to date.
Get some accurate info and see where you currently stand based on ALL your towing parameters
