Wax the Paradigm

sure does look nice. a 12-18 month spray on product would be nice for the sides of the coach. It is a real pain trying to apply and smooth from a ladder! Should be an interesting real life sample to watch. We are in FL as well. Hopefully in a year or two, we can compare our results.
I’m going to try to get it done this week. We’re in Estero, FL. Between Ft Myers and Naples.

Know estero. Have a friend that lives off corkscrew. We are on terra ceia island...basically south end of the sky way. We were just down at the Naples/Marco KOA for Christmas.

I live off Corkscrew. The Place at Corkscrew, across the street from Old Corkscrew golf course. Small world.

when they say " painted front cap" does this mean the logo is painted also ? my 2024 32RLS has the custom paint and the front cap has the Alliance Decal which is a peel and stick. does anyone have the word "ALLIANCE" painted on ? I'm just worried about it cracking from the sun as time goes on.

They are decals affixed to a painted cap on the 2025 340RL. However, graphene ceramic coating prolongs the life of decals; not a opinion but rather based in science. Here's the nerdy stuff I found. I can't cite the sources but they were from Google Scholar.

Graphene is a single layer of carbon atoms arranged in a hexagonal lattice, making it highly efficient at absorbing and dissipating energy—including UV radiation. When used in ceramic coatings, graphene:
Absorbs UV light at the surface layer.
  • Converts some of that energy into heat, which is then dissipated safely over the large surface area of the coating.
  • Scatters UV rays, preventing them from penetrating deeply into the underlying surface.
Barrier Layer

A graphene ceramic coating forms a dense, cross-linked barrier on top of the paint or vinyl. This barrier:
  • Reflects a portion of incoming UV light.
  • Absorbs and neutralizes energy before it reaches the adhesive or paint underneath.
  • Reduces the UV intensity that reaches the surface, meaning less photo-oxidation of the paint or vinyl.
Photostability of Graphene

Graphene itself is highly photostable, meaning it doesn’t degrade or break down under UV exposure. This stability means the protective layer remains intact longer, continuing to block UV even after months or years in the sun.

Heat Dissipation

Because graphene has high thermal conductivity, it rapidly dissipates any heat that’s generated by absorbing UV energy. This prevents heat buildup that can cause decals to warp, crack, or lift at the edges.

is there a certain brand I can purchase from Amazon? or where can we get this type of wax
You can get it directly from Adam’s Polishes or Amazon. They have it on sale for Father’s Day right now. This is the cap after driving through Florida rain and bugs. Not bad if you ask me. But it’s not a wax, it is a coating. Not as easy as waxing but requires much less maintenance and I feel it is far superior.

I finished up the application of the spray ceramic coating on the rig yesterday. I used the Adam's Advanced Spray Graphene. I used the spray as it is definitely less time consuming to apply than the traditional graphene coating; however not significantly. I am very happy with the results but I regret not just slotting in more time, or waiting until it was cooler, to apply the traditional graphene coating. It was not that much less effort or time involved, by my calculation. There are pros to this however, it would have cost about $500.00 for the material to coat my rig, top to bottom. The spray was ~$40.00. The spray lasts 18 to 24 months whereas Adam's advanced lasts 5 years with a minimal maintenance scheme and 10 years with a full maintenance scheme. However, applying this product every 18-24 months does give you the opportunity to observe and note screws missing, sealant that requires repair, etc., you are kind forced to. Anyhow, huge advocate of the Adam's products. I've yet to have anything stick to the surface of the cars, motorcycles, or RVs where I've applied the product. I worked for 8 hours non stop, other than two fifteen minute breaks for this rig and I did not have to do the cap as it was already done. Next fall I will buff and polish the entire rig an apply the 10 year advanced graphene to the rig and be done with it.

The question is why is it worth it? Fading is reduced. Any black marks you get will wash off, most while just driving through rain because of graphene ceramic's self cleaning characteristics. Decals will fade at a lower rate. adhesive on the decals is less likely to degraded. Sidewalls will fade at a reduced rate. Nothing sticks to the finish so washing is easier. Subjectively, I like a glossy finish so I think that is a plus. You will get zero chalk on Azdel with any quality ceramic coating. I guess the benefits can be summed up by saying any UV related degradation is reduced or eliminated.

What quantity of each, was required?
1 bottle of each. You can use rubbing alcohol for your prep too, just so you know. But I trust the brand so I just bought their stuff. The stirp wash is just like nay other wash, a couple of ounces per bucket or foam cannon.

Inadvertent testimonial to Adam's products. That is my truck in the picture. It has not been washed in two weeks and I live is sub tropical SW Florida where we have rain every day in the summer. Their stuff works.
