I have a 2022 valor and taking it out for first time this year and we get to camp and can't get hot water. Went to reset just in case as i had the dealer winterize this year since it was there for service and the one button on the left is hard/solid and I cannot push it to reset, what could be the issue? I think thats for my electrical reset haven't tried gas as id rather be awake and day for that test.

Breaker is good and no gfi tripped

So you haven't tried propane yet or haven't tried reseting the T-stat yet (when you said you'd rather be awake)

How long did you wait for the water to heat on electric?

Have you remove the T-stat cover and looked at them? Look for lose wires.

Not sure about the Valor but do you have a winterize bypass valve behind the tank that would be in the bypass mode. that is not letting the water into the tank to heat up, if so, the electric element could have burnt out.

To answer all questions:

Water tank is full

Waited probably 6 hours after connecting to water source (public)

Have not tried propane because it was late and I was going to bed and I was not going to be awake while propane started :)

If propane works would that then mean my electrical heating element is burnt out? After of course I check for lose wires on the reset switches

If works on propane, element is most likely bad If breaker good. It has been awhile since I had one go bad so I don’t remember if I was able to reset when element bad or not. My thinking here is whether or not it would be acting like a gfci does with no power…..not allowing a reset. Thinking out loud here.

If you think the element is bad it should read around 10 ohms with one of the leads lifted off the element if good, I had to replace one on our last MH after replacement all was good on the 120volt side

Propane worked just fine and I can't find any gfi outlet that is popped which leads me to believe bad switch or element or loose wire as others have suggested. Test it all when back from our trip
