Valor 36V11 Ramp Door Issue…

My ramp door has closed fine for a while. Today, the left side won’t latch. The right latch closes great. The garage entry door is open, so mo vacume or pressure issue. Anyone have this issue before.

I don't think so, but I'll look again. I hope it's that simple. LOL

Yeah. The cable is well clear. The only thing that changed is we put up a curtain tension rod by the ramp door. Maybe that is messing things up?? Thanks again.

It is a solinoid/actuator issue. No power to the driver side.

My ramp door has never closed and latched correctly or easily. My solution has been to use a rope attached to the center hook on ramp and pull it shut it from inside. I check by pushing on door to make sure both sides have latched. This has worked every time. My latches release just fine though.

And yes, I had it checked at dealer and always got the “could not duplicate” line. I suppose it is possible that it must be perfectly level and plumb to latch from outside….good luck on that.
