Vacuum storage

We love our 29RL but it had two problems - 1) it struggled staying cool on hot days, and 2) no place to put the vacuum. Took care of both of these items recently, and the vacuum fix ended up being a simple one so sharing what I did.

There some is dead space behind the door to the bedroom which was a perfect place to mount our dyson stick vac. Dyson does have a mount but found this one on Amazon that works better. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CR77F872

The weight of the vacuum rests on the bottom base so there is no real weight on the wall. I added some felt stick ons to help protect things. It is fairly solid so rides fine this way but I am thinking about adding a bungee clip like this one just to be sure it stays in place. https://www.amazon.com/RecPro-Pocket-Door-Holder-Bungee/dp/B0CGVTN9T3

I would definitely hang it, as opposed to letting the vacuum head rest on the box. I don't think the head can take the bouncing of a bad road.

I use metal drywall anchors, when placing anything on a wall. My TV in the master fell off the wall, because they used those fine thread black screws. It hasn't moved a bit since using them. I am pretty sure I have the 1" anchors versus the 1 1/4" length.

It's pretty secure in this setup, not loose enough to bounce around. The mount also comes with adhesive in addition to the screws so it's very secure as well. Agree with using the achors if hanging though.
