Anyone find a good under sink hot water heater that draws less than 8amps?

I think that is a tall order, but I might be wrong. Max output is capped at 960 watts at 8 Amps, 840 at 7, etc. For context, that is less than a hair dryer. If it is important, you can always underpower a marine water heater. Boaters do it all the time. Check out the boating forums for details.
The above refers to a small tank, around 2.5 gallons. Are you talking about an instant hot water heater that you use for something like tea or instant coffee?
