TV sat/cable connections at nautilus panel

Picked up our 2025 avenue 23ML the other day and I'm trying to figure out the wiring for satellite and cable TVs at and behind the nautilus panel. I watched the video and they say that the units are set up with loose connections so I can wire each location. I can't find that wiring loom. There is one wire going out of each the cable port and the SAT port but they go into a black conduit into the trailer. After watching the Alliance video I was under the impression that there should be a wiring loom with cables that go into the trailer and you configure as you need. Our unit has a coax connection box in the bedroom, living area and storage Bay. At least I thought there should be 3 separate connections to make. Any ideas or where else to look?

Somewhere in you unit will find all the cables disconnected. Reach out to Alliance Customer Service with you VIN and they will send you a layout of the connection.

Got to Lowes or Home Depot and get a cable tester. About $ 30 dollars

Then you will be able to make the connection.

Does you coach have a switch plate that contains a small switch and a power light and male terminals?
Normally if you have the winegard system this switch plate turns power on and off depending if you are pulling your signal from the antenna or cable system.
The cable normally runs from the nautilus panel to this switch plate that has multiple connection on the rear of it. Those connections would runs out to your tv locations.

I also have a 23ML and traced out the CATV/Antenna side. I'll confirm the above drawing is correct.
The Booster switch on the passenger side of the bedroom headboard powers the Over-the-Air (OTA) Winegard Antenna amp. Turn on the ANT button for OTA channels, turn it off if you plug in cable TV at the Nautilus panel. The other button powers the optional Winegard modem at the ceiling plate outside the bathroom.
I've not traced the SAT side but can tell you if you remove the passenger side panel in the passthrough storage (the panel that has the awning switch, TV plate, etc) there was an extra COAX cable loose there (at least on mine).

I sent an email with pictures to Alliance hoping maybe they could answer the questions for me but I think with the help of the forum I may have gotten my answer. My first thought is the Alliance video is old and doesn't pertain to this model, meaning there isn't a coax loom behind the Nautilus panel. If you look at the pictures that I attached each wall plate has a black and white connector, except for the one in the basement for the external TV ( I have no idea what that tan cable that is not attached is for). I believe the wall plate in the living room and bedroom have a dedicated connection for either SAT or Cable/OTR and by turning on the switch near the bedroom headboard you are switching just the Cable/OTR . Still I wonder what that tan connector in the storage area is?

I believe the tan cable is for an additional location to install satellite equipment other than the wet bay.

We are going back to Colorado in April. Even then it will be a crap shoot with the weather. We are holding up in Arizona until then. Hope you have a great trip!!

I can't speak to the SAT cable as I don't use them and didn't trace them - but I believe all the SAT cables are connected together terminating at the SAT connector on the Nautilus panel as you said.
I did fully trace the CATV/ANT cables as I do use them. I also installed a WifiRanger Osprey modem at the Winegard ceiling plate so can confirm that the WiFi button on the wallplate next to the headboard does provide 12VDC to the wires in the ceiling plate.
The ANT button provides 12VDC to the onboard amplifier in the Winegard 360+ antenna. Reason you turn this off if connected to cable (CATV at the Nautilus) is cable doesn't need the 12VDC and actually interferes with the signal.
You can trace the SAT cables with an ohm meter by shorting the center conductor to the shield (outer braid) and using an ohm meter at the other end. But with all the cables connected everything will show that it's connected.

Bierdude, did all that and everything checked out…Still couldn’t get the sat (tailgater/w Wally) to work. Not sure if maybe the splitter is bad. That will be next. Might try to run a cable directly from the nautilus input to the outlet by the tv(if I can pull a cable through the mess).

Because I always get fuzzy cable tv signals to the tv and do not feel like tracing the cable back to the input, i just went with a Firestick and IPTV. Works great as long has I have either cell service or good WIFI from the campground. Who knows what corner was cut during install...
