TPMS signal booster

Has anyone hooked into the camera power wiring to power a TPMS signal booster? That way, one switch would control both the camera and your booster which would be running only when you’re towing. I assume the 12 V accessories fuse is powering the rearview camera wire.

I have mine wired to the Upfitter switches on my Ford F-450. Your idea is solid for sure. However, why not just tap into the marker light in the front/side of your RV (via propane tank area) and therefore the booster would come on automatically when you plug in the RV to the truck. I think I remember the documentation on our TPMS booster was to put in the front storage area....but I could be wrong.

I don’t run with marker lights on I’m too lazy to take the light switch off auto and too dumb to remember to shut them off.

I tapped into one of the compartment lights. I don't mind that it's on all the time.
Feel free to point out any fault in my logic.

That’s not a bad idea. I have it on its own switch and when we boondock I shut off all the compartment motion detector lights so could flip the TPMS switch then.
