TPMS on Delta 252RL

I know the new 2024 Delta 252RL in TPMS ready, but why? Tire Link receiver is installed at factory, but then you have to turn around and purchase the receiver again because you cannot just purchase the repeater, 4 sensors, and alert indicator by itself... Was this thought through?

I wondered same thing! but I ended up several years ago using a 3rd party TPMS with its own repeater. I didn't like that tire linc would require my phone screen rather than a little dedicated display. And it was less than $100.

Anyway I found the prewire good for *something* in that it gave me an easy 12V to tap for my repeater. I hid it all in an ABS plastic box with an LED indicator on/off switch.
