Considering the purchase of a 310rl. I would pull it with a F350 super duty single rear wheel with 6.7 diesel . Specs have me concerned with the pin weight. Any input for me?
My 2024 310 puts about 6700 lbs on my rear axle (7000 max rating). Pin weight has been consistent around 2900-3000 lbs.
Truck is a 2024 F350, SRW, 12,000 GVWR.

It will pull it. This is us with a 24 F350, SRW pulling an25 340RL, fully loaded ready to go, fridge full, extra DEF, wife, dog, etc. A dually would be better (some say meaningfully, others are kind of “meh…not a huge difference). but I’ve had no issues in 20 to 25 MPH crosswinds. Pulls fine in all conditions. Stops fine, even have had to engage in emergency stopping and it performed perfectly.

I tend to believe the dually will nearly always be a bit better towing these big trailers. There is some science behind that reasoning.

Summary of my 2023 310RL weight a couple of years ago. I have a dually but understand that is what I already had. Bought a new truck last year and it is a Ram dually, just what I wanted. I refuse to drive a F450, so I never have steering envy.

What's that mean? I'm ignorant of Ford trucks.
The Ford F-450 has a best-in-class turning radius for a dually, approximately 8 feet tighter than an F-350, with a measured radius of roughly 29 feet. This superior maneuverability is due to a wide-track front axle allowing for a ~45-degree wheel turning angle.

Now..I have a F-450 now and came from a 350 and 250. The only thing that has ever been better than this 450 is our Suburban YEARS ago that had Quadrasteer (where the back tires turn as well)
