Like probably everyone here I needed more room for my tailgate to fully open when hitched. I saw several videos on YouTube showing how to rotate the motor head on the Lippert jack. The videos said that the mounting holes for the rotated position may or may not be there already. If they are there then they will need to be tapped to form the threads for the bolts. I checked mine and I was happy to not only find the holes already there but they were also tapped from the factory! Big thanks to Lippert for not cutting corners on this!
One possible difference in my jack than those in the youtube videos is that I have autolevel. With the tapped holes already there it's a super quick and easy adjustment.
