Tie Down Mehods for New Kitchen Table

We decided to get rid of the ridiculous kitchen table in our 2024 Paradigm 240RL. The table top kept falling of because undersized screws were used to secure it so after I secured it with carriage bolts it proceeded to pull free from the wall. Again too small screws. Stupidity!
We bought a sturdy free standing table & need to secure it. can anyone tell me where to drill in the slide out floor to install anchor eyelets? Not sure how to avoid causing damage & whether the floor is solid enough to hold the anchors. Thanks

We replaced our table with free standing and turn table sideways with table top against wall and use the straps that were on wall to secure original table with chairs laying on side in between legs with bungees. 24 310 rl

We don’t have any straps on the wall. Just some holes where the table was screwed to the wall. I guess I could use the holes as a tie down point but I’m not sure how deep I can go with the screws.

You could just screw into the floor and be fine in my opinion. Alliance sells repair tape in 1", 12", and 24" sizes. For the holes in the wall.

So screwing into the floor - what length of screw? Should I use the self drilling screws I used in the basement? Same flooring? I can’t remember if I screwed into joists or just the floor.

Probably need longer screw due to the flooring inside the coach.

If you have a sofa or theater seats they are fixed to your floor,,,access one of those, remove a screw, imho get some of those & and that should work for floor straps. Am sure other members also will weigh in,,,,,Good luck! 👍🌞🍀!!!

no more than 1/2" or 3/4" screw. Otherwise you will damage your linoleum floor when pulling in your slide. Ask me how I know...LOL.

You could also place the anchor point in the very corner of where the wall meets the floor. I use rope cams to tie down my sit/stand desk. They are way easier to tighten than those nylon straps with buckles.
